I am a Google Voice user. I really like the look of the Verizon Visual Voicemail app pictured. I think Google Voice could really use a refresher. I like the pictures by the voicemails.
Same here, it looks really well designed. Wish it didn't cost $2 a moth extra. I would use the for my primary number.

Not sure if it will work on ICS though? And it's free.. Verizon's app is $2.99 a month
They (I actually got two recently) handled shots pretty well! I think it's the food mix up unfortunately. They're 12 weeks tomorrow! Mixed boxer and pointer, so small and annoying and cuddlyi promised the forum my first Gnex pics will be of them (which is why I haven't posted any yet... Figure I can keep them on topic by comparing to my charge photos te-he)
I remember that now, ie getting them, and promising gnex pix! This thread has moved so fast.
I'm glad to hear it's nothing serious. We had a slight scare with a parvo diagnosis when we first got her, she had just had the parvo shot a few days before we got her (@9weeks?), and she was suffering from the trots, etc, doc was concerned since it matched to parvo, but it passed, so to speak.
So, are they little furry piranas, lusting for human flesh? Compared to previous pups, our new one isn't too bad, just consuming a pint of blood/flesh every so often. Part of having pups!

lol That's what I do too, but sometimes HanSolo farts and posts it and those thanks throw me off.

This room is the G NEX waiting room,you come in, talk amongst yourselves and when someone says they have news,everyone pays attention.It really doesnt take that long to bypass movie,car,bourbon,tv,book,food,college,office co workers,football,etc posts to find what you are looking for. WE ARE THE NEXUS ARMY!

I'm starting to second guess the 12/8 rumor. Why would Verizon not be advertising the heck out of this phone? If it is launching in a week, you would think we'd have heard of:
1. ads going up
2. stores receiving stock
3. stores receiving tons of accessories
etc, etc. I really want to believe 12/8 (especially since I'm going to be using a pink bb pearl, ugh), but I'm starting to have my doubts. It would be really nice if we started hearing of other developments to triangulate/confirm this 12/8 rumor from the TBH folks.

Yeah, the bay area is really nice. I was just there M-W for some training at our site there. I'm up/over in the Sacramento area. It's nice being about 2 hours from the bay/SF but also < 2 hours from snowboarding
I love the whole area, its beautiful. The range of choices of environment are diverse, in really a small area. Tahoe to beach in 3 hours!
Want to take the kids there soon, so many things to check out. Love the John Muir woods, and the northern drive along the bay/ocean.
I use google voice for all calls.
FWIW, my best friend is a manager at a local Best Buy (he has worked there since high school so about 7-8 years now.) I texted him about the screenshot since he is eagerly anticipating the launch of the Nexus as well and he said they get there trucks in on Friday not Sunday... He asked for the UPC on the screenshot which of course is blurred out. Not sure what this means but not all Best Buys get there trucks on the same day so the 11th does not necessarily mean its the release date.

Heh! Whats the case for? So it will look new when you throw it away or so it can turn your pocket inside out when you pull it out.
I guess if your rough on a device its needed but I like to make fun of them none the less.
I also use custom car docks and MFG desktop docks so I cannot use one anyway.
To me they go through all the trouble to make them sleek and then we............

1. We have heard rumors of ads in New Jersey, though they haven't been verified
2. We have seen leaked pics of stock manifests IIRC
3. We know that lots of stores have accessories, some have had them for weeks already
There is precedent for quiet launches, and for not having a pre-order period for Verizon

I believe that was a shirt offered on shirt.woot.com a while back...can't remember though. Probably pretty easy to rip the image off their website, but I'm not sure if they frown upon that sort of stuff (I forget what they do with copyright for shirts they produce).

Parvo is really scary! One had a bought with coocoilia or something, it's a parasite. But she's all better now
They're not too nubbly any more. Biggest problem has been potty training! So much harder with two! And so many stairs in the new house. We have a strict new crate training plan though, I've let my bf be way too lienent, but not anymore!

I had a 78 & 79 Wagoneer and 79 Cherokee Chief S. These were the bigger Grand Wagoneer body style, but before they started putting that tacky fake wood on the sides. They were beasts. Unfortunately, they also had this problem hose that would let go and blow tons of extremely hot air around your engine... if you were lucky, it'd melt some wires... if you had a small oil leak, like my first wagoneer, you'd have an engine fire. The two Cherokees were both post-fire rebuilds. The fires made it a little hard to find parts in junk yards, but the ability of those things to just power through unplowed parking lots with 3 feet of snow in them and just handle a little more boat-like... not even come close to getting stuck... was awesome.
After those, since I was moving lots of band equipment around, I drove a full size Chevy van for a couple of years. Then I wasn't in a band, anymore, and it seemed like a waste of gas, so I downsized to a Chevy Celebrity station wagon, followed by a Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser... basically the same vehicle with different body accents and trim levels. They were my first 6-cylinder vehicles, but they were mid-sized cars with lots of low-end torque, so they felt overpowered and fun to drive... and now my silly little Mazda.

I dunno what I'm gonna do about a case when the GNex comes. I typically don't like cases, especially since I'm a big fan of docks (my OG sits in a dock all day at work), and most holsters end up failing on me fairly quick. I literally went through 4 cases/holsters in the first year of owning my Droid. Then I found a $5 Husky holster in Home Depot which has worked wonders. I have no doubt in my mind that this thing could last me at least another 2 years, except that it's made for flip phones and BARELY fits my Droid. No way this thing will fit around my GNex.

Tahoe, I assume? Is it easy getting up there mid-winter, or do you need chains? I really need to get out West to ride, but I figure riding out there will ruin riding in Vermont and the Poconos for me. Don't wanna spoil myself. What's your set up?

I use it to place phone calls. I'm a teacher. I give my google voice number to my parents. If I ever call them back I use my google voice number that way they don't have my real cell number. This also gives me the ability to block them easily through the number. I also have a special greeting for them when they call.
I also coach 3 different basketball teams and am a youth pastor. I use Google Voice with all of them one way or the other. I use GVSMS to send group text messages using Google Voice. I also use Google Voice as my primary Home number for my bills. We no longer have a land line and I don't want to give out my cell.
It's free and easy to use. I LOVE Google Voice.

I made a post saying something similar, but several people assured me that TPU cases are made of a material that don't pull the insides of your pockets out. I say it's worth a shot.Heh!
