Given the marginal 4G signal on that phone, I'm hoping he wasn't in a strong 4G area.
Doubt it. I know the LTE around here, suburban MD, regularly pulls 14-16 down and around 6-8 up.

Remove the individuals from email and you lose the quick drop down of mail addresses if google didn't save them for you.
As far as Google+ I'm sure there is a way to turn off that feature.
I think if at&t releases this phone it would be a LTE verison ..
AT&T doesn't have LTE. Their 4G isn't like Verizon's.
I sure hope you're right, but since I said that yesterday, I'm not allowed to predict that again today.Pre-order today....I can feel it.![]()

Edit: Not entirely true, but that phone works on AT&T only, so why test it?
they have their hspa+ 4g and actual LTE as well. they put out 2 phones that use it so far, and its not nearly in as many areas as Verizons
Way to go Verizon!! It is now a real possibility we could hear an official announcement from AT&T about the Galaxy Nexus first. After all, Verizon did remove the "exclusively from" tag from its advertising.
Odd AT&T-only Galaxy Nexus passes FCC testing
Been waiting a long time to post this and I hope since I am the "rumors" are true...
LESS THAN ONE WEEK AND I WILL BE HOLDING MY NEXUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good day![]()

Fridays are bad days to launch products, generally. For retail, you like the buzz to carry into the weekend, but you also run a lighter staff on the weekend in the corporate offices, so it's good to have the first 24 hours happen during the work week.
Hence the frequent Thursday launches with many retail products - close enough that the buzz won't be lost by the time the weekend rolls around, but if the sh*t hits the fan during the launch, you have Friday to clean it up.
Agree with that, but the fact that Verizon allowed BF to pass w/o announcing this device set the course. They already missed an opportunity. So, nothing would surprise me at this point...
I am expecting a massive ad blitz for this, when you combine Google, Sammy, and VZW.
