My OG Droid Has Served Me Well

Something one of you developer types can possibly make money on is an APP or Theme that will forbid any screens with WHITE or bright colored backgrounds.

Law enforcement, Security and PI types need this Mucho Grande for surveillance/undercover work that requires communications that don't light up your face or your location.

Someone please come up with one. I would love to have a switch that made it all Red on Black.

I would pay for this kind of app.

I don't think it would be just one App, Theme creators would have to Theme each app individually, there are some ROMs where the dev has already chosen a dark theme for all their apps but that doesn't mean every app YOU use will be theme'd as such. System screens though would follow the over all system color scheme determined by the ROM.

I turned my Thunderbolt off last night before bed. Just turned it on. It booted in less than 5 seconds. Weird. Usually takes a good 40secs. or more

Eh, I think we collectively decided that changing the title of the thread itself wasn't really necessary. I would definitely be in favor of some boldface print in the OP clearly declaring that we're relatively sure the 8th is the final release date, though.

CyanogenMod has a "RenderFX" widget that can do a number of color schemes including night mode (all red) and many others such as "terminal" (all green like a green screen dumb terminal).

Same here - according to the map I'm squarely in the 4G zone, but again thanks to Philly. However, where I moved from in Jersey, Medford, is just barely on the fringe. Do any of our Marlton people have 4G, and any issue staying on 4G?

Anyway, I too am squarely in the 4G coverage area according to the map. Don't know anyone around here that has a 4G phone though, so I can't comment on the map's accuracy.
