Really? I thought the fruit phone came in almost dead last, if it wasnt for the rezounds blue tint

That was my take, too, though I guess it depends if you'd rather have a picture underexposed like the iPhone or overexposed like the Nexus. I'm hoping that is something we can fix with some settings getting tweaked.

Not sure about the accuracy of that shortcoming on the Rezound -

(hidden because of big pictures)

I am really digging this camera. Especially the HDR Backlight Mode. I had some fun with it this weekend:

LTE version is 9.47mm, while the GSM version is 8.9mm iirc.

That's a whopping 0.57 mm thicker. To give you an idea, that's the diameter of a 0.5mm lead mechanical pencil. Basically, it's hardly going to be noticeable compared to the GSM version. :)
Neato! Oh, and math > me.

I was wondering what you guys thing about the phones actual color? The press shots make it look really dark(almost black), while some of the videos posted(the LTE speed test one) make it look more gray/silver. I really hope that it turns out to be a silvery color, I think that would be nice for a change. :)

They really seemed to be grudgingly giving the phone praise. Every good point had a caveat, such as:

Murky territory? If it's fast, it's fast.

And the camera button comments I thought were a bit over the top. A physical camera button would be nice to help eliminate blur in pictures but to harp about it like he does felt like he was digging for reasons to not like the phone.

That is such a joke. Apple is consistently reviewed as being better than Android, because of all the things iOS does better than Android. But when an android phone comes along that is this good, all of the sudden you can't make comparisons because comparing an ICS phone to everything else is like comparing apples to oranges. Please!

Who needs a camera button when you can have a shortcut to the camera app and there is the lockscreen camera feature of the ICS lock screen? Seriously:

if(screen_off) {
wakeup();
slide_locker_to_camera();
} else {
touch_camera_shortcut();
}

Seriously? No camera button? Are they reviewing some crappy feature phone? :rolleyes:

I don't think the only advantage of a dedicated button is for quick access to the camera app. It's also just nicer to use for taking pictures--as opposed to pressing your finger onto the screen.

I really like the dedicated button on my Dx. I think it would be a plus on any phone.

Has anyone had any success getting there upgrade moved up? Mine is on Dec 29 so I don't think having it moved up 20 days or so should be a problem but I am not sure what the success rate is as of now. I have the Dinc and after the recent update it was working fine but now every time I go into an app and return to the homescreen it is like it has to reload sense. I am looking forward to getting rid of this annoying problem.

No luck here. I have a 30.00 discount currently, but would rather have the 50.
