I pray to all that is holy that you are right!Just a heads up, but if you guys noticed in the About Device menu from the Engadget hands on video, it is running the same exact build number as the GSM model (ITL41D). Only thing different is the radio, obviously.
This bodes well for everyone who was perhaps hesitant that this device wouldn't be running builds from AOSP. Basically this is yet another clue that Google will be updating the LTE device, not Verizon.
Thanks, I have been looking for that.
Its 11.5 miles south & 60 miles north of me but I never go north. Shes coming though.
I'm a painful 1/8 mile outside of coverage![]()
Pretty sure OTD held it in her undead hands a couple weeks ago too.
Can't you get a range extender or something? Rabbit ears (with balls of aluminum foil wrapped around the tips) connected to the external antenna of the Nexus?

Exactly.
It's the term that everyone bandies about and everyone agrees what it means - until asked to define it.
The IBM Fellows will tell you that quality is a binary - you have it or you don't and any scaling of it is just a cover up.
To me, the term build quality is a nebulous idea, it's a form of scaling. This one has better build quality - like this one has more one-ness (because quality is a binary).
In my mind, I don't go by this because opinions vary - and they vary across many subtle factors.
My personal idea of construction quality - did other phones in this class or from this maker get a reputation for lots of infant mortality issues?
This is a new class for Samsung, so I look at their record and they come up good on construction quality.
Next part of build quality - no brains, just emotions.
It's a handset. I pick it up and roll in my hand a few ways. If my gut says something's wrong, I trust my gut, put it down and try the next thing until my gut tells me it's good.
I can't put my hands' impressions into words and I know that my hands don't have their own brain - but for a handset, I trust my hands' feedback as much as my brain's.
Anyway - that's just me and that's just one more opinion on this build quality stuff.![]()
Sorry if that made no sense, did my best.
All this hoopla just caused me to buy a TPU case from Amazon. Using prime under 10$ shipped using 2day. Will be here by Weds.![]()
Would an LTE Galaxy Note affect your decision to buy the Nexus?
Samsung Galaxy Note LTE made official - SlashGear
My only concern would be about the stylus and compatibility with ICS.
Superior but not by a lot.Probably won't see this in the US til at least April - if ever. As far as "specs" the Note is the superior device - camera, CPU, GPU, display size, battery life, etc.. You would just need to be a Touchwiz fan

I almost acted like an iSheep and gave into peer pressure by grabbing one of these. Thank God the description on Amazon mentioned not knowing how they would work with docks which reminded me why I have always preferred a nekkid phone before. All this hoopla just caused me to buy a TPU case from Amazon. Hey Wilfred B. How is that Nexus treating you?? Any issues popping up lately? Or are you still in the honeymoon stage?![]()
