That's because the android market is divided among many phones, but added together they continue to grow more dominant in the overall marketplace. If you add up all the different android forums on the net, I'm sure they do quite well in comparison to the iphone forums.

That's also why, Verizon is more interested in selling cell phone plans, than any phone in particular.

Right.. and I'm in a seminar all day Friday so I better have a Gnex Thursday (hope) to get online for tix....

Gotta drive for 2 hours Thursday afternoon to get to the seminar... so if it drops on Friday I'm hozed until Saturday at best.

Agreed. I also have a handful of non phone geeky friends that are planning a purchase of the nexus. Should be a pretty solid seller overall for android.

I have used screebl for a long time and used to love it. Please beware that there is a severe bug in it that drains the battery on some phones though. The developer seems to have totally abandoned updating it also.

Screebl absolutely destroyed the battery life in my rent-a-razr until I uninstalled it. The odd thing was that it was reported as "android os" in the battery usage monitor instead of the screebl app.

I agree and that is why the phones will not sell out like other phones do since there are so many other phones coming out all the time.

I am on my 4th Dinc now. Every time they send it in for a refurb. I don't believe they will give you a new Gnex on the spot if that is what your asking. Might be wrong since its a completely new launched phone.

This is why I do not purchase at Corp Stores anymore. There has always been a pricing advantage doing the Online thing. For Me.

I have waited this long, I may just have to stroke Costco, the Corp Store and Online before I choose.

Thats a common issue in the RAZR that I read about, not really Screebl.

On a off note when you had the RAZR did you notice how when your on Wi-Fi I keeps the 4G LTE active as well? I had to set a smart action to enable wifi and disable mobile data for it to go away. Now her battery lasts more then all day on wifi. Before it would die within 10hrs on wifi at home.

I know he hasn't updated it since Sept. but I wasn't aware that he gave up on the project. Shame, it was a simple app but did what it was supposed to.. and well.

Wait, how about if the phone was purchased less than 14 days before, they insist on exchanging with a refurb when the customer just bought new? That's insane.
 
Well I hopped on the band wagon (and who said that is a bad place to hop anyway? A wagon with a band sounds pretty fun to me!) and got a TPU case on Amazon - grabbed one for my mom too while I was at it. They should arrive Wednesday which would be perfect timing if the release happens this week. I am still hoping for a Best Buy release in-store same as in-store VZW based on what the reps I've personally talked to said, but i guess i won't hold my breath (I'm really bad at it, can't swim across a pool under water or anything).

Hello everyone!

Haven't checked in all weekend and seems I missed quite some action in here. So Steven got to play with the device and loves it, huh? Doesn't even look that big in his hands (TWSS), but this makes me more and more excited for the device. Someone over at AC posted their manager says Friday - I was hoping for Thursday, but Friday works for me as well.

Anything else super exciting I missed?

Definitely will be around more tomorrow -- got some upgrades at work that take a while (while installing) so that's my forum time.

So this week is almost on us... A big week for me in store :)

Normal work week for me is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8-630

But heres this week :)

Monday - Off - going with wife to first doc visit since she got pregnant :)
<--- One proud daddy in waiting :)
Tuesday - normal work + Hangover 2 comes out!!!
Wednesday - Off (Preorder the Nexus if it comes out Friday/or be here all night to stay awake to 12:01am Nexus day)
Thursday - Hopefully Get the Nexus & Work 12-630
Friday - Normal work day
Saturday - Eternity = Enjoy the Nexus

Im really excited about the Nexus hopefully coming this week. I cant wait :)
