I know we are busy talking about the box color, etc. But was anyone else happy to see we get a set of the Sammy headphones that are said to be pretty decent? I half expected VZW to cheap out and have Samsung skip those for their version.
 
OK, I just got a call from the Verizon store that I left my name with this morning. They called me and asked me to tell me that they will be selling the Galaxy Nexus on Friday 12/9. They said that they would reserve one for me if I wanted it. I've already reserved it at another store, so I passed. The store is the Citrus Park store in Tampa. You can call to confirm if you want!!!

I called the same store. Demitri has put me on hold. . .
 
FWIW I just called 2 Verizon stores, 1 gave me the standard no information.. the other said that they had people already in store showing them around but no release date and said that he said they wanted to release it by christmas and that he really believes it should be out before 2012 q1..

I'll add to that. I just called two stores. One in the town where my wife works, one next to where I work. The one where my wife works had no information and took my number saying they would call me when they had them.

The second store (by where I work) took my number and said he would call me back, probably this afternoon, with whatever he could find out regarding a release date.

Which one did you call? there are three there lol. One is in the mall and the other is right down the street. The only corp store is the one across from the mall on the south side of the road in front of best buy
 
I just called my local corporate store asking about the nexus. The sales rep said as of know they have been told they will have them in stock on the 8th! He took my name down and said he will give me a call later this afternoon/tommorow once they have been given a go-ahead to make appointments.

OK, so I just called a VZW corporate store and asked when I could put my hands on a SGN, cause my Eris is on its last leg :). Put on hold, she came back and said Friday they will have them and I made an appointment with her so she gets the sale.
I will call first. Good enough for me..now back to porn and online racing!! lmao
