Yeah, I just checked and I fell to... Nope still same spot ;) Pretty sure unless Steven starts deleting all my posts in the next day or two I will stay here, haha. Can't keep up with BB or Han though.

Dude, we DESERVE them first! When was the last time you shoveled snow on the west coast? When we are snowed in, we'll NEED our Gnex to keep us warm.:D
 
Coming from iOS I didn't want to partake in the rent-a-phone that a lot have. This being I wanted to experience ICS from the jump. So instead today I traded my iPhone 4 for a 4S with a little cash to a buddy who needed to be able to JB and unlock. SIRI was fun for a few hours until I read the good news about the upcoming release. Then I remember I will be out of the country come thursday night, go figure. Looks like online purchase for me.:D

Alright, what are those of you saying to get your upgrade date moved up? I just tried 611 and he wouldn't budge, just spewed the line about how early upgrades are determined by device popularity (see iPhone) and that nothing could be done til a) the phone is released and b) 7 days before upgrade date.

What's the trick?

That's not going to cut it. I used to live in Worcester, but I don't have any way to be in Millbury at 9am and back in Boston by 10am for work. Unless someone has a helicopter I can borrow? And a blatant disregard for FAA regulations? :D

Worst case I'll give them a call Friday and show up Saturday if that's the closest I can find...

It reaches from the wall to the phone, so you should be all set.

If that doesn't work, you can buy a suitable length USB to Micro USB cable from Monoprice for a song and plug it into the Samsung wall wart charger.

sorry for the stupid question, but i am going back on my parent's plan because it will be the cheapest option for me at this point. my mom added me as an authorized account user online but what info do I need to bring with me to the store on friday? i have the billing password...anything else (besides an ID)?

After a series of delays and crashed dreams, I actually was at the beginning, but since some official stuff are coming out, I find it hard to not believe. :)
 
I don't think that it's mandatory for the salesperson to activate the device prior to it leaving the store, a friend of mine was able to walk out of a corporate store with a Bionic without it activated, although I'm unsure if it was on a contract.

I'm going to request that they do not activate mine at purchase. I have 2-step verification on my Google account and would feel most comfortable activating (and deactivating my current device) in front of my computer while logged into my Google account.
 
I called my 3 local corp stores around omaha same "we dont have any info" answer. Anyone else from around here have any luck? It would suck if east and west get them in stock first and us in the middle have to wait till monday.
