I wanted to really express my appreciation for jbdan and BabyBlues for the great reaction time and responses they have, you guys are really great to the community! Thanks!!! :D If I was rich and amongst the 1% of this nation, I would personally present a Nexus for free for you guys and all the others in this community, I'm sure if I was in the 1% I could afford it (Of course, just the phones, the monthly service fees are on your own lol ><) Anyways thanks again!!

PLUS they started this thing where it will let you restore up to 30 days previous in case you do something weird that you want to change.

I love that area. We've vacationed in Lake George for 28 years so Saratoga is often in our visitations.

I also make films and I know exactly what you mean. On set, needing to call actors and yell at them and ask them why they're late. It's very hard to do that when you're running low on battery!

Im calling BS..

Not because i dont want to believe it but because i highly doubt verizon would go through the logistics of shipping, training, demo units, and then deal with leaks to delay it even more...

This week or at the latest monday but even that is hard to believe with inventory laying around

Still, if reps are telling people Friday is the day to come in and they're letting people play with the phone in the store and see it with their own two eyes and hands, why would Verizon want to push it back farther? They can't turn back once they've told their lower level employees.

I think they go off GMT time when not logged in as a member user. I wouldn't hold much credence to his post honestly. Not yet at least.

Ooohhhhh - I like the gray one when I look at them but I am hoping to find one that is more of a bumper not a full cover on the back. Since we seem to be so alike let me know how you like it. (I know others have said they love it but this is my forum sister) :D

When you use your gmail to activate the phone, all your google stuff, contacts, calendar, etc., can be synced to your phone. If you ever wipe out your phone for any reason, it will sync next time too. There is usually no need to worry about that part.

Same for apps. Any that you buy will be reloaded when you redo your phone. For mine, my free ones do too. Dont know about others.

I highly suggest that you use the phone as is a while. If anything comes up that makes you need root, then plan for any needed backups before you pull the trigger.

A stock phone is gonna keep you entertained for quite a while.

Thanks! But if that's the case, why are people saying stuff along the lines of, "unlock it first no matter what...bc unlocking it later will wipe everything and be a total pain..." ? Bc what you just explained doesnt sound too bad, but then again ive never experienced it, so maybe it is a huge pain no matter what? Maybe?

BUT i totally agree, Ill just take it all in for a while and enjoy the pure sexiness at first...and cross that bridge when i get there...I was just making sure that bridge wouldnt be flooded by the time i got there...

I text so much on set too, plus the emails, plus being bored and playing with a phone. haha. It's a bad industry to have a dead phone in! I missed a few jobs a month back because my phone was off in the morning and I slept through some last minute calls to fill in for people. On big jobs too :(. So mine is basically never off unless I am truly unavailable. Charge having random reboot issues has been a major problem too! Which is ironic because the whole reason I jumped on my upgrade the second I could was because I was in the middle of a show and my OG was having major issues.

Also i was in a local VZW store the day after Thanksgiving and asked about this device. Nothing specific was said, they took my name and number and said I'd hear from them as soon as they heard anything about it. Still haven't heard from them.
