Same here. The PS3 is mostly used as a bluray player, the 360 mostly to watch netflix these days. Companies are definitely getting lazy with the coding.. much easier to use the tools provided by Sony and Microsoft than to make your own. Plus, sadly enough, they will make more money on consoles than PC sales.. if for no other reason they don't have to deal with the diverse hardware in the PC world.
Still, I've never had a gaming experience on a console that can truly compare to some of the ones I've had on my PC - even using my hd tv and surround sound system for the console. Like Skyrim looks pretty on the console.. it's absolutely stunning on PC - especially once you get a few of the mods to improve the textures and such. I've spent time on some mountains just admiring the view with the Aurora Borealis in the night sky, a dragon flying around over a distant forest in the valley below and my housecarl Lydia telling me she was sworn to carry my burdens
