OT (sort of)
I thought somebody was out of their minds a while back when they said this thread would get to 75,000. Now - we might hit 100,000 before Verizon release this phone

For all that is good in this world - Verizon release this phone!!!!

I have been buying them and just not allowing them to install. This way I will have the new apps to install on my nexus :)

You should be fine. The only time I ran into issues was apps purchased on my Droid sometimes had to be repurchased for my GTab 10.1 (though this may have only been SwiftKey X since it was the tablet optimized version)

The Market is still showing yesterday's list on the front page, but if you click the links to each app in the AC story, or search in the Market, you'll see that the ones I listed are 10 cents.

Yeah the market usually switches over somewhere between 11AM-12PM EST. Thanks Razor for always giving us the "early preview" each day!

Yeah 100k would mean another delay. I pray we don't hit 100k.

So any apps you purchase with Google Wallet can be downloaded to another phone? Are they stored in the "cloud" somewhere?

EDIT: One more question. Is Google Wallet an app iin the app store?

Yeah, I install on my Dinc and my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (as long as the app is supported on both device). Google Wallet is a pay-service, no app needed for the Market place (it's integrated...just enter your credit card info).

Probably ninja'd.

Yes. As I've had to switch droids (I lost mine but my boyfriend was kind enough to let me use his old one) I can confirm that it is not phone specific. Its like the iOS app store in that you don't purchase per phone, you just purchase the app. It can go on any compatible device.

If this whole delay is over Verizon wanting to use ISIS instead of Google wallet, they should do one by the customers and offer both. While most customers will more than likely will use Google wallet, I would understand Verizon's apprehension however all they would have to do is include another big name player in use with ISIS. The last I checked, only Citicard and some gift cards could work on Google wallet. If Verizon partenered with some companies such as Bank of America or Visa, then they would draw more users to ISIS. Now of course I understand the politics behind all of it and wanting to have control over the whole beast that is NFC but would they really be losing money by having their customers choose between the two? And who's to say that individual companies down the line wont incorporate nfc use in their mobile apps, completely avoiding ISIS or Google wallet use.

There I just solved the release issue. Now give us our damn phone.

OT (Bears):

Peter King on his Weekend Pickoff:
So much about this game would have been different if Jay Cutler were playing in it. Like, the outcome. As it is, Tim Tebow's the pick to win his seventh game in eight starts.

Why do sports writers always look at a football game as if it's one QB against another? What, do the QB's also play defensive end?

I don't think Tebow is coming out of this one unscathed. Our defense still has Peppers and Urlacher on it last time I checked.

I am thinking of just raiding a Verizon store. Today and. Stealing a nexus........ I was wondering going to post a pic of. My. Car yesterday. But. Stopped. Home. Early. From. Work. And. Walked in on my gf wrapping. My Xmas gifts that didn't go over to well......... Hopefully so I forgot lol I'll try today

OT:
Download 80GB worth of data in 2 weeks and see if they don't throttle your data. That's what happened to me.

 HOLY MOLEY!!! I don't think I ever went over 2gigs!?!?!
My penance...I will purposely leave my GN @ home the first day I get it.

Pics or it never happened! LOL!!! :D:D

OK so I have a slightly selfish question/request. I actually had a review on my rezound published by HTCPedia.com - An Online Encyclopedia for HTC Users. I said that since the rezound and the g-nex have the same resolution (1280x720) and the gnex had a bigger screen that the rezound picture may very well be the better display (of course this is not taking into account the differences between samoled and slcd).

Would love to hear the thoughts of the G-nex elite:)
