ClockworkMod 5.5.0.2 for Galaxy Nexus *GSM Edition*

Read some of the comments, this version has been proven to work on LTE variants as well, just need to do one little trick to make it stick.

It also works on the LTE version it has been confirmed by myself and atleast one other. I have noticed that if you want to go to clockwork you have to reinstall the GSM version every tine before you reboot to clockwork in rom manager. However it does allow you to make a nandroid which is vital before we really start messing with these things

You need to delete /system/recovery-from-boot.p
That will prevent the overwriting of CWM with the stock recovery each boot.

That is the catch. It is coming out Thursday, but all stores are closed.

Not sure that means closed or the store just vanishes that day? Or Thursday doesn't happen this week as far as VZW is concerned?? Think is will usually list closed or SOMETHING on days they are closed though.

My husbands office is right next to the shopping center where the Manalapan corporate Verizon store is.

My store hours state Mon-Fri... Then Sat and Sun individually. And nothing has changed since I last looked at it; 68845. Since store hours vary across the country, I wonder if specific stores can adjust their hours on the fly and are now (or have recently) made requests to open early? Don't know how possible that is. Seems a little out of left field, but would be a great development for those locations if so.

There's an easier method I found though that doesn't deal with any insecure boot image:

1. Unlock the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock)
2. Flash CWM recovery in fastboot: Link
3. Flash Superuser in CWM: Link
4. Reboot

And you're all set.

You have no idea how much I'm going to appreciate learning how to root/mod a phone that doesn't have AN ENCRYPTED BOOTLOADER LIKE MY DX!
