Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme for LG Esteem MS910

I have question about the boot animation.. The first time that it booted up, the animation was perfect but now it boots faster and the sound doesn't match the animation.. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Try this app out Bluetooth Fix Repair. Its free but theres also an unlocker app for it. The guy that dev'd it was having problems with his phone connecting to his stereo so maybe it will help with your problem.

Thanks but i already tried that before posting and it dint much either. I also tried the bluetooth fix from lg optimizer by kanaida and nothing is helping with the FC issue.
 
THIS SHIT IS BAD ASS!!!!!! Mad PROP'S to Playfulgod!!!!!

Iam running the GS with the cwm, i used cpu master and it crashes @ 1.9g and 2.0g aswell, runs great @ 1.8g!!!!

We are truly lucky to have people like this giving us the mods for FREE!!! that is AMAZING!!

Phone running smooth as butter. Before when I was just rooted my phone lagged and almost all the time when I'd receive calls my dialer would stall or get a force close message. But now after flashing GS Extreme my phone is completely bad ass. The boot start up is fast as hell and I'm able to run it at 1.9GHz flawlessly. Battery wise I went a whole day without charging :D THANKS GUYS!!!!!

it's in the thread 'all things root' on 1st page, it works great, good source for backup stock, only issue i found (which i could care less about, but some do care) is it didn't play the metro sound on boot up...

like i said not important lol but if you want it 100% stock than i would look for the fix on that...

unless you are refferring to a different rom... because i dont think it's deodexed

ps. im a huge fan of this device, and i was curious if anyone minds that i post a custom built rom myself? it'll basically be stock without all bloatware, but will also provide flashable themes for variety... if anyone has an issue with this please let me know, if so than i wil talk with plyfulgod and see if he's interested with just posting my mods/themes in his link or omething...

After using this rom for 2 days i can confirm that bluetooth doesnt work. I tried pairing to 4 diffrent phones and process.bluetooth.something force closes every time. I know people would says just use bump or similar apps to send pics/vids but i also pair to non smart phones so bump is not an option i need bluetooth. Is there anyway i can fix this? I'm still gonna keep it even if i cant fix bluetooth this rom is too beautiful to let go just for bluetooth but i would still like to fix it though.

The bluetooth pairs and works ok with my car but I have to check with another devices.

Edit: With my Laptop the bluetooth works flawlesly too (browsing and reproducing music from my Esteem in to my laptop)

I absolutely love this rom but I am a "noob" at installing roms so if anyone could help me out immensely by making a detailed video on how to do it from step 1 - on...

Its slightly different from the stock rom as it is deodexed.
And you don't need to talk to anyone, make whatever you like and share if you want :)
Reminder: no one here is responsible for what you may do modifying your phone ;)

same with me, everything I've tried to pair with works, tho my car doesnt have BT so I cant test that lol

Well i know i haven't restored bad data because i never backup my apps or data before installing this rom except for my nandroid backup i have no backups. And also i didnt install this rom over another seeing as how this was my first custom rom i installed it from a stock brand new phone and i wiped all the caches and data like i was told in the instructions so i dont see how i messed up the blue tooth. I'm not blaming the rom its just coincidental that two of us have bluetooth problems after installing the rom. I still love the rom and i dont plan on going back just for bluetooth but i would like that feature back. PS how do i know if i have plague kernal or not? On my settings about phone it says 2.6.35.7 -perf+ lg-electronics@The-Monster #1 under kernal version.
 
@ playfulgod, I have another LG esteem, if it helps you any its yours. I basicly told metro they can suck my junk and arent getting it back. you sr. are my hero :) lol in a non gay way
 
Where can find the esteem stock rom deodexed? Or what is the best way to deodex mine all apps at once?

The_Monster is my box ;) and stock wont let you oc. I wasnt blaming you or anyone else having BT issues, just I havent had em nor can replicate em, thus making it hard to diagnose to fix. ;)

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way i can uninstall bluetooth altogether and then reinstall it?
