I love it. :D Any idea where it saves screens? Gallery appears broken too.

*edit* won't reboot to recovery or power down with USB cable plugged in.

That's why I made a nandroid backup. I can restore it and my apps and everything are back where they were. ;)

But I definitely have to check it out. :D
 
tdmcode has done an amazing job. In less than 2 days he was able to get this far. Round of applause for him please! :D

I had to remove a lot of bloat in order to make room for gapps. I removed all the live wallpapers, all the ringtones and other media above 40kb, all the videos in the media/video folder, and the bootanimation. Once I did that, I booted into recovery, did a backup, wiped/formatted everything except the sdcard, flashed the stripped down ROM zip file, then flashed the gapps I posted. Once I rebooted, I was presented with a screen to enter account info, then once all that was finished, the market icon was in the app drawer. ;)

I also am having the same problem. My market isn't showing up in the gapps you posted. I remember yesterday flashing a different gapps which had a working market though but I deleted it from my sd card today :rolleyes:

You have to remove some bloat. This release is an eng (engineering) release, so it has a lot of extra code. There will be a new release in the next couple of days built as a user release, and stripped of a lot of the bloat.

Patience grasshopper, your ice cream will not melt in the meantime! ;)
 
Will this ROM have the three buttons at the bottom like ics? And will the running apps button work? I think that is awesome!! :)
 
no it ewill use the OVs hardware buttions but they are not mapped correctly so ythe home is benue ack works and menu and search do nothing
