Root [Boost Mobile] $hEvRoN Theme {Updated 4/09/12}

booting after update now, yay!

thank you, much easier to read now, a bit more contrast between the bg and text!

First thanks for your work.

I'm curious here if I am just experiencing a phenomenon or if it is a known problem or not. Since I themed it with shevron my voicemail indicator stays in the notification bar and regardless of how many voicemails I actually have it says I have 2 voicemails. Also (not a big deal at all) the boot image didn't work I still have my R2D2 animation I got from Woodstock77.

did you wipe cache ? & dalvik cache ?

I tried it all... No dice. I love the colors and transitions. I'm gonna keep it maybe I will get lucky and we will figure it out.

the theme didnt change anything or messed with the system check your voice mail and make sure there are no unread messages. Sometimes it will show you have voicemails when you dont have any, happened on my Ultra a few times. as for the boot animation if you would really like it follow the instructions.

Download:bootanimation.zip
Make a backup now!

open root explorer or some other file explorer that allows you to view and edit system files
navigate to /system/media and drop the bootanimation.zip file there it will ask to overwrite the existing one please do so.

reboot and you should see the new animation.

The boot image was no biggie. The voicemail issue got fixed by doing a factory wipe, install shevron then backup with titanium backup to my last known good configuration. Works perfect now. Love it thanks. still no boot image but I haven't moved things around yet I have root explorer just gotta do it.

Attention:

The release of the $hEvRoN ROM is getting closer and closer guys:) so far its been great no problems, oh and if i didn't mention it before the ROM will be multicolored meaning that there will be more than one color "blue" to choose from when it is released. There will be 2 other colors to choose from and those colors will be Green and Red. You guys are lucky your getting version 0.5 before the Ultra gets it but then again it will kind of be better on the ultra because i will add some features to it "statusbar widget". I dont think the Warp supports it though, i'll re-check but i can't guarantee it, but anyway the release should come by the end of this weekend.

Quick question about UOT, how did you get it to put the bootanimation.zip in /system/media instead of the location it defaults to?

I am trying the new version out now, I really liked what I have seen so far. very nice indeed. Good work. I wish I could do this stuff.

All I can say about the new version, is WOW... You really outdid yourself that time... I really like the way the screens flip and the blue icons up top that you changed, it is very nice indeed. I am very pleased with what I have seen. Great Job. Chevanlol360 Thank you. Mark...

Nvm, I got it. I also got the signal bars to theme. I had to manually edit the files and repack theme into the framework-res.apk. anyways once I'm satisfied with my theme I'll put it up

I think that I may have the answer to your question, Check the Mobile ID... My phone somehow saved the background and other things into the current mobile id, on my phone, so check to see if your did the same, this will keep some things even after you do the flash. I don't know why....

I hope this has helped.
