Her birthday is in three weeks, so I ordered on the play store because it said 3 weeks lol. Ordered Friday and she got it today.

Got mine this morning. I absolutely love it. Paired it with my Galaxy S III's 4G LTE connection with FoxFi and went around the town with it browsing Chrome, watching Youtube and more. This is the best combination since peanut butter and chocolate. Seriously.

I'm going to apply an NFC sticker to the back of my N7, and use NFC Task Launcher to set up an auto-hotspot configuration on my phone. That way whenever I want to tether, I just tap my phone to the tablet (or vice versa) and boom, tethering.

I just got mine last night. Unlocked the bootloader, rooted it and now I'm trying to figure out what I can and can't do with it. It's a little weird that I can't use whatsapp or text on it. Has anyone tried using apps that forward text messaging to the chrome browser with any success? I would love to keep my phone on the charger when I'm home and just use the 7.

Overall, it's a slick little device. I love the Google Now. Very cool addition that will only get better.

Got mine last night. Ordered it on the 6th. I didn't have any trouble unboxing it, but I had watched a couple of videos. My last device was a Kindle Fire. I took it back after 3 days using it. Wasn't impressed. I won't be returning this tablet. The only bad thing I have found is no flash support. It is going to be a while before all the websites move to html5. Other than that, I absolutely love it.

I received my nexus 7 from gplay today. I had been playing with it for just under 2 hours when my husband let the dogs in. One is a very playful puppy. She jumped onto the couch while I was playing with my brand new toy. It slipped out of my hand and crashed on the tile floor we just installed. You know the rest. Now looking to replace the screen. My case is due this weekend or early next week. It will probably work in spite of the screen but I can't stand to look at it right now. *sigh* I should have known better.

Oh my bleeping god if my dog does that i would have given him the silent treatment until i have brand new Nexus 7 in my hands.

Got mine yesterday, and spent most of the evening playing with it. First I tried out Chrome and Youtube just to make sure everything seemed ok before using Wug's toolkit to unlock and root it.

Then I downloaded my apps that I wanted on it. I was surprised about some of them not being compatible (I also tried WhatsApp), especially the Amazon app (but their mp3 app works fine). Checked out the Kindle app, and even though the Galaxy Nexus has a nice big screen for a phone, it looked so much better on the Nexus 7. I also tried Comixology and downloaded a free DC Comics Digital comic preview issue and it was big enough to read each page without having to zoom in, so I'm excited about that.

Since work is too busy, I didn't call in sick like I wanted to, so I'll have to wait until I get home to play with it more. But so far I love it!

live wallpapers are cool the first few times looking at it.
after that, you realize it's just a battery killing feature and revert back to a normal wallpaper.

There's a few things I need to look into, but I may dump my iPad 2 for some quick cash if I can utilize Dropbox as the Android/iOS Photostream app between my 4s and Nexus 7. Got a couple of other things, but that's my biggest need right now (5 month old Daughter, takng crazy amounts of pics/vids of her and utilizing the heck out of Photostream on iOS).
