I must admit, I am also a fan. PA was the only rom that pulled me away. I just want to love pa so bad, even with issues. There's just something about it...
 
Same here, but I must say it was easy and a good feeling to Nandroid back to Zred XL, can't explain everything felt right.

Yep others are mentioning the same thing, I have not upgraded as of yet so I can't confirm, maybe Brian or DS can let you know if their camera is working if they upgraded.

Not updated here yet. May tinker around later on and flash on an older buttered toast and see if that's an as usual fix.
 
Many are saying the same thing camera Broke. Flashing different kernels is not fixing the issue. ;)

I haven't updated either. Too many people say it broke something that's working on the version I'm on. I'm holding off on this one. I'm happy for now. :)
 
I did flash, used Don's method of advance restore(thanks big time saver) and flashed the newest 13.5 Kernal. Now just waiting for the Cam patch (should be a relative quick fix) and I'll be good to go. After the kernal I got a benchmark of 7616....My battery does seem to drain a little faster but the speed is amazing.

I've learned to deal with the battery since I carry a charger everywhere I go :D pa is worth it imo :p
 
Yes he was mocking my spelling of MIUI, when I type from TT it chooses suggested words from my swift keyboard, I missed, LOL :p

Those on 2.55-2 want to try to fix camera, here is a temp fix posted by JSparta

Weird that camera got borked with this recent update. Video playback is still not fixed all the way. Not sure about 4g because i don't live in a 4g area. But I got the camera fix. This is my own fix. Feel free to try it yourself. I pulled all the camera libs from aokp jb ROM and pushed them on this ROM and rebooted. Presto!! Camera fixed. For video playback I pulled all the media libs, all stage fright libs, all video editor libs, and the media codec and profile XML files from etc folder. (All from aokp jb ROM) and pushed them onto the ROM and rebooted. Video playback, camcorder, and yes YouTube all work.

I'm no Dev and I don't wanna speak for anyone else but if someone could take all of this lovely info and make a flashable zip file, we in the layman community would be greatly appreciative :-)
 
You could also wait until tonight he will probably post a fix release, or camera patch

On another note, does anyone know how to make the capacitive buttons stay on all the time? My phone does this annoying thing where the cap buttons time out, but the search button stays lit because of that stupid light leak that most of our evo's have.
