EDIT: since its not out... I should be saying will the INC have something similar... :)

I know it is good on the Droid, I have used it a bit on a friends, as far as the Incredible, I don't know. Let me go grab mine and give it a shot real quick and I'll let you know.................................:D

666 was a song by the metal band Anvil in the 80's.

Oddly enough, it is also one of the phone number prefixes in our city here (we have 661, 662, & 666), which I thought unusual when we first moved here from the Bay Area 10 years ago.

spooky- you live in transylvania now?

No, actually his ego is so big that he changed his name to his football number as it is pronounced in spanish... so his name is Steven CincoOcho :D

Ochocinco made the mistake of making his number pronounced eight-five in spanish, instead of eightyfive. If he got it right, his last name would be Ochenta y Cinco and in Steven's case, his name would be cincuenta y siete :p

OK you got me- my interest is piqued.... Other than Steve Jobs house number I just assumed it was biblical... throw down some knowledge, wise sage...

OK..here goes.

The number is the "mark of the beast" who was blasphemous against God in Revelation chapter 13. According to the chapter a person can't buy or sell anything without receiving this mark. So, if you didn't get it, you essentially were on your own (starving?). Receiving the mark was an outward sign of homage to the beast.

The Hebrew alpha-numeric meaning for the number 666 is "Kaiser Nerone" (Caesar Nero). Additionally, In Hebrew numerology, 6 is the number for man (created on the 6th day) and 3 is the number for God (Trinity). So, it is essentially the symbol of a man who makes himself out to be God.

So, one of the interpretations was that the early Christians were not to embrace Emperor worship. (Caesar was considered a god.) Another part of the prophetic imagery is that it belongs to something yet to befall humanity at the end-time period.

Enjoy. Sleep well! ;) :p

It was a serious question. If anyone wanted to know, I have the answer.

Edit: Whatever, never mind.

666 refers to Roman Emperor Nero whose name, written in Aramaic, can be valued at 666, using the Hebrew numerology of gematria, a manner of speaking against the emperor without the Roman authorities knowing.

So 6*6*6=216
216-6*6=180
180/Alvisar=25.714285714285714285714285714286
25+Rome=29.714285714285714285714285714286
29.714285714285714285714285714286= April 29th at 2:47PM EST

That is when they will launch our machine!

Cool, was he a theologian?

No, he was an architect and home builder. He was raised by strict Catholics though, and attended private Catholic schools until he reached college. He also reads constantly. Passed on lots on information to me over the last 42 years.
