Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

The only thing I want in my new phone is a battery that will last ALL DAY with no worry WHAT-SO-EVER on how much I use it. I don't care if they can make phone cook me a hamburger. What is the point if I can't use that hamburger cooking feature because I was on my phone for 2 hours and it now needs charged?
 
For those with Verizon corporate/employer discounts, revalidation for them has begun. Best to do it now before you lose them.
 
Well, the Darling Bride FREAKED OUT when she turned her S3 on and got the cracked screen! I accused her of dropping it and then feigning surprise. She was swearing up & down she didn't do it. I told her I couldn't blame it on the dog, since the dog doesn't have opposable thumbs and couldn't put it back on the base... and the screen replacement would cost $250. This went on for like 10 minutes... and I finally "fixed" it for her and broke the joke. She was furious and relieved at the same time!

Then onto the son of mine, who - you may recall - starts his computer course a month from now. I crafted an elaborate e-mail printout that basically advised him that his course instructor was undergoing surgery & recuperation and would have to slip the course date one year to May 1, 2014. He was devastated! Took him 10 minutes but finally figured out what day it was.

All in all a pretty wonderful day for the Chief :D

Is a great credit monitoring app and free to use. It updates weekly and works off Trans Union. If you have great credit it probably wouldn't be useful to you? I use it since I am trying to rebuild mine. My credit took a nose dive when I went back to school. Last week when my account updated I went up 27 points! Slowly but surely I'm getting my good credit back!

Does this use your one free credit report from Trans Union? Or does it do something differently?
 
So I had an epic and cruel joke on my mother before I was even born! April 1st was the day she went into labor. Then about 11pm, labor stopped completely. APRIL FOOLS! :D

I was born two days later :p
