Just so you know, Root Explorer is 4 bucks, and will allow you to change the .prop within the app. Worth every penny. If want the cheap way out, you'll have to ask around for a free app that will do it, I'm sure there's a few out there..

my connect is dev only, no uicc card, no service, tho it does show if it gets a signal or not.

doubtful, the difference is prolly goo manager included in mine.
Tried it. Did nothing on latest cm10 build. However, I am not in a 4g area and am currently suffering from the data bug where I get no carrier info so WiFi is all I can use.

I think 0312 has more things working than 0317 but that's just me
ES File Explorer should be able to do the same, and for free too. You just need to enable root functions under its settings and make it rewriteable (<--- is that a word haha )
3/12 rev. didn't let data work even after the rom settled some. By data, I mean calls. At least with the 17'ths update I'm able to periodically (blinks in an out every minute or so) make/receive calls.
There's definitely something going on with the data service in cm10 and our phone, maybe we'll get it figured out, maybe not. I'll continue testing anything I can for this phone until the 26th but after the 12th I'm going to switch to boost mobile, and get an htc one sv. Metro doesn't service the area I live in with any kind of data other than 1x, and it's killing me to wait 5 mins for a pandora song to load in the car.

Hey guys, man I hope y'all get the data working somhow I would love to have this on my phone! I would give out beer money for a complete working ROM! LOL! This is my only 2nd Android phone and I plan on keeping it for a while along with Metro PCS and it would be awesome to use this, all the other ROMS for this phone give me problems for some reason and I would love to have a 4th option (ROM) that I could try. Keep up the great work devs! I am sending good luck vibes your way!

I use it too, mainly on stock-ish roms tho.

BTW; I freakin love you PG. This rom alone literally made me drop my lg motion like a bad habit and squeal like a preteen girl at a one direction concert. XD buh yeah, I had to dust off my connect and havent been able to put it down since.
(edit) I put together a small collection of tweaks and mods for the motion once we got recovery. They might do some good for the connect too. Don't forget to thank the developers for their hard work.

All i see is whine whine whine. Lol...nah, i tots understand where ur at man. Multitasking is a must in my field and people never seem to understand that while that doesng complicate one thing out of the bunch it does halt progression some. Take ur time and be the pro u r. We dont expect you to rush beyond your capabilities at all. At least i dont.
