Going on a trip tomorrow.

Packed my bag for four days: 10 minutes.
Cleaned out my backpack for TSA-- 15 minutes.
Wife packing for same trip: 1.5 hours and not a single damn thing is in her suitcase yet.

I'm ok with my wife taking more time to pack. Before smartphones I'd be on the phone to folks at our destination chatting up a bit. Now I make a quick obligatory call and a few texts, then check the weather and news at our destination.

It all works out fine and everybody's happy. And like that old jazz/blues man said, "If momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy."
 
When people pay 1c for a humble bundle...

"Road Closed Ahead" signs really do mean the road ahead is closed. Yes it does mean it's closed for you too. No you can't just move the barracades and drive through. If you want to drive into that giant hole that used to be the road, knock yourself out, but you're not going to get to your destination through there.

Giant "Detour" signs will show you the way.....you just need to actually comprehend what you see.

Yes you can go any way around you want, if you know a different back road.

Does the detour bring me back out on the same road after the giant hole?

Yes, yes it does.

Can I just squeeze through the jobsite?

No, no you can't.

Can you think for yourself?

No, no you cant.

Go to the Dollar Store and get a bottle or 2 of Awesome. I use it on my white car to get road tar off. It doesn't hurt the clear coat and you can use a soft cloth to wipe it off. It's cheap and it works. For tar, I use it full strength. It will work on sap too, I'm surrounded by trees and you can mix it in a bucket to wash the entire car. I use about 8 ounces to a gallon of water. You can adjust it to whatever strength you need.
