Yeah. It has to do with the manifest edits that I made. The Samsung MMS app is no longer "receiving" the messages, but it should be an easy enough fix.

7.2 will include the option to install VM minutes checker (new version, I've been using it for a while myself) and trickstermod for overclocking as it's the only one I've found that makes the frequencies and governor stick properly.
 
I have found an issue and I'm not sure if it's ROM related or not (I am using Conquest), but my daughter called me and she says my phone rings several times before I answer. I tested using my wife's phone and indeed it rings about 8 times on her end before my phone rings.

I cannot remember, but I thought there was a setting in the build.prop to adjust the delay or something like that.

Any help would be appreciated :)

I haven't run into this but to be honest, I don't make that many calls. I haven't changed anything in build.prop except the version line which displays conquest revision. The rest of it is identical to stock MG5.
 
Both my wifes and my phone does that at times. She is 100% stock on the F3 and I'm rooted stock right now on Victory. Has to be a Vm thing. Ours ring an average of 3 to 5 times on other end before actual phone rings

As a test, I tried calling my wife's phone from mine and her's is doing the same thing. Sprint/VM must be having a local meltdown :rolleyes:

Darn Sprint. As if I don't create enough bugs on my own without them creating more (joke).
 
Im thinking that maybe the sound of the touch skund should be increased. Just a suggestion, this is definatly not a demand. R7 is great btw
 
I just installed 7 and am having some issues with instagram and snapchat. Snapchat freezes anytime I try to record a video and instagram looks like it records video but doesn't. Anyone have any idea whats up? I've had this issue on every single version of this rom

My phone also still shows the victorious boot logo, anyone know why that is? Also, I still get double notifications on messages.

Quite a few camera apps have the same issue saving video including many of the AOSP camera apps that I tried. I can't fix it, email the app developer.

Double notifications is fixed in R7.1 but it had to be pulled due to other bugs. R7.2 will be out tomorrow.

The other question has been answered previously in the thread and I won't answer it again.
 
I've never been able to get the frequencies to stick on this phone using no frills otherwise I'd use it because I greatly prefer it.
 
I've been using SetCPU for frequency settings.. Joy's of that app is you can pre-define profiles for such aspects as charging, screen on/off & change max/min frequencys for each profile..

There's a paid version that's free somewhere on XDa yet I'm not able to find the link to the posting for the forum.

Anyways freqs. stick just fine with that app.
 
Yeah looks like I included the wrong systemui in r7. Will be fixed in r7.2. And there STILL will be no clear all. There is no clear all in AOSP. If you need to clear all recents, swipe them individually.

Just checked the thread on XDA and SetCPU distribution is still restricted. I may have finally figured out how to get settings to stick in no frills, though.
 
Next release will be a full release and I'm calling it 7.5; not releasing until I get all the bugs worked out and my new aroma installer situated. Testers wanted. PM me if you'd like to volunteer. Thanks.
 
You know what would set this ROM apart from other's big time would be a kernel to allow Voltage change..
Just another thing to add to the wish list..
