Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

Right now I have data but if I turn my wifi on, then back off, I can't get data.

Yeah, yours is not the first post I have seen in general on various forums about this issue, and I honestly cannot recall if anyone had an actual answer as to the cause or if there was even a solution. Will keep my eyes peeled while I am on the interwebs.

OK, how do I tell what bootloader I'm on? Maybe if I change bootloader, it might fix the problem.

No way to tell from any of the system settings that I am aware of, the part in About Phone that refers to baseband is your modem, not the bootloader. From what I just Googled, there may be a Play Store app that can check it, but that might be suspect at best. It may just be a matter of either you know or you don't. If anybody knows a better answer to this I am all ears.

Just flashed a little while ago, freaking sick! My phone and apps are responding noticeably better, hopefully this lasts and isn't something that is gone when I get up in the morning lol! Updated my OP on the thread I have for CM on the Virgin subforum and gave you a thanks in the OP for trying this before I did, am going to update my CM thread here with same info.

Hello, can anyone tell me if it is possible to update prl and profile on any Aosp rom?? I have tried several different Aosp roms and cannot find anywhere to do this.
Thanks

This thread not only contains tons of PRLs, it also tells you how to flash on both TW and gives you access to the script the is needed for the AOSP ROMS.

UPDATE ON CM11 -

The newest 12/15 build of the Official CM11 Nightly seems to be fully functional so far. No issue when changing between wifi and data.

I still need to test bluetooth but so far this nightly is running great.

I'm also running the newest AOSP 4.4 747 kernel. No issues to report.

This thread if you want zips that I have modified for anyone to use:

These aren't my original work I downloaded from the CyanogenMod page and then modified for use by Boost and VM. Download from the Cyanogen website if you want to start from scratch and do it yourself.

what are the major differences between moar 6.1 and moar 7.0. besides the mk3/ 4.3 update.

and is the galaxy gear supported.

Good question! Since I haven't been following MOAR lately. I can't answer that. The ROM thread would be a good place to get an answer. Either that or maybe someone in here know that answer.

Myself, I have went the way of CyanogenMod 11 and am loving the hell out of it!:D:party:

EDIT: PHILZ RECOVERY IS DEF A NICE PIECE OF WORK TOO. LOOKS LIKE I'VE FOUND MYSELF A NEW RECOVERY!! :D

@ jreink01, please do me and the others members a favor and use the quote feature. It really makes it a lot EASIER to find your actual question instead of reading through the others person's post to find your question. Thank you. :)

When I use my phone, I don't see a quote option in Tapatalk.

Touch the reply you want to quote, then it will highlight blue. At the top of the screen, press the icon on the left that looks like a stylized speech bubble, next to the "Thumbs Up." I tell you what, in general, Tapatalk has quickly become one of my favorite apps, don't know why I didn't start using it sooner (I only installed it last week!).

Depends on what version you are using. With the old versions, you tap the post and a box will appear. select quote and then type your response.

The HD version on my tablet is different. You have to tap the post and it will highlight it. Then you tap the quote icon up at the top. Just takes some playing around with to figure it out is all. I've been using Tapatalk for a few yrs now. It's got the quote AND mutil-quote features. Just gotta learn to use them is all. No biggie bro. You'll get it figured out. ;)

They've even got the moderator options too. Messed around with those when I was a Guide a few yrs back. They were new and didn't work half the time. TpTlk has got it worked out now though. Darn nice app and I use it daily. :)

Used the Phandroid app before learning about TaTlk. Not a thing wrong with it either. :D

I enjoyed hitting "Thanks" for your post about being "Thanked" ha ha ha!!

LOL. As did I when hitting the thanks post about my thanks post which was thanked by several people who were thankful about both thank posts. Boy, we sure are a thankful lot aren't we? My answer would be... Why yes, thank you very much. ROTFLMAO....... Lol. Hee hee. Couldn't help. Maself. :p:D

I thought I read in a post that cm 11 is fully functional and no issues with data when turning wifi off. I clicked on the link in the Op for the cm11 night lies rom and several posts mentioned the same issues with data not connecting when turning wifi off.

Probably more of an APN issue than with the ROM itself. Personally, CM11 has been about as flawless as it gets for a nightly, supposedly non-stable build.

It depends on which one you're running bro.

1st off, I had to use Philz Recovery to even get it to flash. The old version of TWRP just wasn't gonna work. I flashed Philz and off to the races I went!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the real deal too bro. Official CyanogenMod Nightlies..... I used the 12/15 build from here-
CyanogenMod Downloads

Then I chose to use the PA GAPPS FULL MODULAR PACKAGE from here-
[GAPPS][4.4.x/4.3.x] OFFICIAL 0-Day PA-GOOGLE APPS (All ROM's) [2013-12-15] - xda-developers

I then flashed the KToonsez 747 4.4 AOSP KittyKat kernel here-
[KERNEL][SPR][AOSP/TW][JB and KITKAT][12/03/2013] KT747 - MD4 - KTweaker - xda-developers

switching between data and wifi works w/o a hitch. Now this one is the REAL KICKER!!!!! I am set up on the Sprint apns but my mms is working. Das a right bruh. Don't ask me no questions so I ain't gotta tell ya no lies. I have no idea what's up with that but it is what it is.

Thanks for the laugh! Lol
And I'm going cm11 gonna follow your install biker just cause I like the way that kernel works. You mind sharing what kernel tweaks u have going.

And did you flash the dalvik patch?
