Root [MetroPCS] wtf going backward? b12 update

I got an ota update from i version to b12 now i can't get root access. Anyone else with problem
 
Software is what changed.MS50010i changed to MS50012b. I got stuck in clockwork recovery. I plug it up to my computer to use the LG mobile tool. that's when I really noticed that there was an update. I was hoping it was the Kit Kat updates but ooooo was I wrong. I lost my root access and haven't been able to recover my root access since. Kingo and saferoot didn't work.
 
Looking on lg.com it say updates include knockon...whatever that is. I don't care what you're update does i just want root back lol
 
Ok so Im on I as well then. I went to my metro store up the block and one of them has the new f6 like me and did the update and is still on I as well so how you got to b12 is maybe you went into recovery back to your original point of b12 not I bc you have an older f6 where as mine and the guy at the metro store have the 3/3/14 f6's.

Ok we just did it IF you got b12 and want ROOT do full recovery and it WILL go back to I. AND knock On is a touchless app for turning on your lg device.
 
I just got root by factory reseting first. Thanks guys for quick replies. With bootloader locked the bad int memory and possibly no root I was about to throw f6 out window and go back to the Esteem
 
UPDATE: 12b is the current update from I. You receive the Knock-on feature with some other undisclosed upgrades. To achieve full root with Kingo Root you need to factory reset. (power+volume down) was method I used.

What steps did you take after factory reset, I reset last night and am having issues.. What mode did you put the phone in, MTP? LG Software Mode or Charge Only?

Describe to us in detail the steps you took to get kingo to work.. Cause every way I have tried has failed via Kingo.. LG Software shows as Odin Mode on Kingo, Charge and MTP show up as Normal..
 
Does all these updates...3 since I got the phone mean kit kat is on the horizon? I put in all this work rooting for nothing :-(
 
I found it funny I rooted my wifes phone just the other night and she said she got the update announcement at work and hit ok and it updated regardless of root.. The Coolpad Quattro would not do this, so it seems perhaps LG made their update overlook Root so it can make itself unrootable.. Using the guise of "Knock On" and some other system updates we will never know about..

We buy in hook line and sinker.. The ole Bait n Hook technique..
 
1.do update,
2.then lg mobile tool options update recovery, vol dwn+pwr reset.
3.on phone dwnld framaroot apk.(type framaroot apk in browser)
4. open apk choose install supersu then click Gandolf
5.ROOTING THE F6 And Recovery. under our root section.
6.Last i ran the kingo root until it finaly sank in.

after ever step i factory reset either vol+pwr or through the settings back up & reset.
Sorry i dont know EXACTLY whats going on but i got root twice my wife and i have the same phone

Ok so i got root with the new version. when i did framaroot it just disappeared after i hit gandolf not sure if that was supposed to happen. when you do kingo i did it under camera and that worked hope this helps some of you
