LG G3 Pre-release/Rumor/Speculation Thread

As long as the battery really is removable, I will probably ditch my note 3 for this if I can bring myself to give up the s pen.

Me? I've decided to wait for the G3. I'll get it on a 5th line and keep my unlimited. My choices are G3 iPhablet, or note 4. We shall. I tell you, if the G3 had the 801, I would have bought the s5 for myself too, but this week's rumors kept me back.

You do realize that Knox on the S5 and Note 4 means no rooting without losing your warranty. Can you live without rooting, or do you not care about the warranty? My S4 will be the last Sammy handset for me. It's becoming the walled garden that Apple is, only not as pretty. I'm down to keeping my Nexus 5 and waiting for the Nexus 6, or getting the OnePlus One or the G3.

My family doesn't root. Only I do, which if one of the reasons I'm waiting. I took care of them at 99 dollars per phone for a good phone and I wait for my preferred power user phone, brother. :)
 
Idk I was figuring on a brushed metal look but its actually plastic. Those last pics look majorly overexposed but I'm thinking that's the silver and black versions?
 
I don't know either. I think I'm getting way too excited about upgrading. Whatever I get is bound to be a disappointment, especially when the next generation phone comes out after it. :p

We have been hearing a lot of rumours about the LG G3. I made a What we know video on the LG G3. What are your thoughts about it? Please watch the video and let me know.

He's talking about brushed aluminum and an 801 processor. Others are talking about an 805 and a plastic that looks like brushed aluminum. So, the bottom line is? No one knows.

Haven't followed the thread much so not sure if it was brought up, but does anyone think there will be a GPE of the G3? They did one for the G Pad but not the G2. I imagine it was because of LG making the N5, but if LG isn't making the N6 (was this confirmed yet?), there's a chance for a GPE.
 
I sold my Iphone 5S for the G2 and couldn't be happier. However, if the G3 comes with most of the rumored specs, I'll get it. I'm on the Verizon Edge plan, so I don't have to mortgage the house to get it, but getting the top phone will cost a little.

I've not read anything about a G3 GPE, but if LG didn't get the N6, it seems possible.

I think there was a rumor going around about HTC making the next nexus? Or maybe I'm getting confused with something else.
