evo 4g kernel source now avaible - xda-developers it.s here so now we might see some new kernels in the next couple of days

I am thinking of flashing the fps kernal on xda [Kernel]FPS 'fix' for Epson AND Nova screens (No need for evo switch!) Version 3.6.2 - xda-developers but i'm currently stock kernal and im happy with it ATM

I am going to root today if this answer is yes. I if I root can I factory reset using the power and down volume and it will do like it says every thing back to out of the box?
