How do I update? US Cellular S3

When I get home after an 8 hour day at work with mild use, my battery is half gone. Is this about the norm for you guys?

I had a mesmorize for years and juice defender rocked. But now I have the samsung galaxy s3 and juice defender and wifi dont like each other. What are you using in place of it?

I had a mesmorize for 3 years and loved it. It had voice option right on the kerboard and the keys were much larger. I find myself fat fingering evertime i am typing something. is there a way to download a dufferent keyboard?

Yeah! I finally rooted 2.2 Mesmorize! I now have an app called super user. Not sure what to do now. Is there a "Rooted for Dummies" guide out there? What are the mandatory apps I need? Any help would be great!
