I own the Android LG Optimus. When I go to Settings /Applications /Running Apps., my settings app is completely grey and has been force closed . Although it's still listed under Running Apps. Help!!! How can i get this app up and running again?

I cant hang up calls on my end. After removing the phone from my face, the screen doesnt come on. I tried enabling "power button ends call", but that either didnt work or took several pushes. This is especially a problem with pocket dials. Is there any way for me to fix this with or without root?
