Rebooted and Wiped Battery Stats After it charged to 100 again....And its at 90 Gonna charge to 100 percent again and repeat until it stays at 100 after A Battery stat wipe... After that i should get Crazy life with this battery...If nobody has done this i suggest you do....Your tank isnt filling up

Also noticed that when i first got the battery it charged from 50 to 100 Pretty fast...Then it charged from 84 to 100 Fast but not as fast...Now its charging slow from 90 to 100....And seeing how big this battery is slow charging seems more realistic im heading in the right direction:D

Charging Through AC Not USB

Ok so been following this thread for a while now and I've had my eBay Chinese 3500 for few days and at first it was showing pretty crappy results. Less than oem for sure... I'm running fresh 3. 1 kings #9. I used nandroid recovery to wipebattery stats and found out itnever wiped it. I used clockwork and wiped it then turn in the phone and plugged it in... the battery level was at 73 and started to go down 1% every 10 minutes until it was down to 48%. Then started charging up again. I presume this is a fairly good thing I just hope I get good life now. Will report back.

I'm sorry and I'm not saying this to insult ANYONE but if someone is getting more then 6 to 8 hours on the stock battery they're not using the phone, they're just carrying a phone around. I had a routine I had to go by to keep my phone charged because I actually used my phone. By noon I had to charge the phone for 45 minutes while in the car, in the middle of the afternoon the phone was hooked up to the computer for a couple hours at work to charge. Some times I put it on the charger in the early evening while I used it. But then I averaged 3 or 4 hours of music, 30 or 40 text, at least a 1/2 hour of youtube videos, at least an hour's worth of phone calls, 1/2 hour or more of using google maps, etc.

It wasn't a bad battery either, I was switching between 3 stock batteries. With the Yooboa 3000 I can finally go all day without looking for the charger! With a little patience cycling a 3500/3000 (or whatever they really are) battery 3 or 4 times with an external charger and about a week total time you'll have a battery that will take you through a very busy day or probably 3 days if all you do is carry the phone around. ;)

My typical phone use is moderate to heavy daily. My wifes' use is heavy. Our stock battery would need charging by 3:00 pm every day. I purchased a 3000 battery off eBay to try it out, received it in 16 days, cycled through a few days of charging, use, charging, etc. Now I'm getting through the entire day with ususally 50% or more battery life left at the end of the day. (11:00-12:00pm). Got my wife one and she is a very happy camper too.

yeah continuous usage of the phone will drop the battery life 25-30% an hour with a stock battery so i'll end up with 3.5 hours of usage. with the extended battery i'm hoping to get 6 hours of continuous usage although i don't think i'll ever be out that long and if i am, i can only imagine using the phone continuously for 3 hours so it'll definitely last. can't wait to get mine!

I get between 7 and 10 hours of awake time with the 3000, based on type of usage. You'll be fine.

Just got this new battery, and it does work great. I went through the whole process that Beast played out and wiped my Evo to reset battery memory... Works great, getting the same results and he did... It looks just like the 3000 mah you guys are posting and it's the same size, it's just the 3500.

If anyone wants more photos or different angles, feel free to ask me.

It fits well with the docking station, i just take my stock battery and put it in the cradle, while I have my 3500 charging in the phone on the dock.

evo docking stations are available again.

if someone would be so kind as to give a link in this thread to the definitive guide to calibrating the 3000ma battery in the evo, it'd be much appreciated :D

charge it in external charger till full, wipe battery stats if you are rooted. drain it. charge it till full, drain it, charge it till full, drain it...you get the idea. The seller of the original post recommended about 3 cycle drains, but where he is really getting that from I have no idea.

So I have to listen to 4 hours of music, spend half an hour on YouTube, an hour on the phone, and half an hour using google maps in order to be considered someone who "uses" their phone? I'm sorry, but I have a job and I know how to get there without google maps. I send texts throughout the day, I check and send numerous e-mails, make a handful of phone calls, and browse the internet on my lunch break. All the while, squeezing in some plays in Wordfeud, but I'm not "using" my phone? If I did as much as you are proposing, I'd be plenty pleased with roughly 6 hours of use on the stock battery. Even that would hold me over long enough to make it to a charger whenever necessary.

Let's just agree to disagree on what the definition of using the phone is and go about enjoying our great phones! :)

Just received m two "Feitong" 3500s I have two more and an external charger coming next week.
A fiend of mine is getting a gift of two - but the charger is MINE!

How to drain EVO battery quick:

4G, GPS, Mobilenet, WIFI tether, Brightness all the way up, Live Wallpaper, and ROBODEFENSE!

i thought i saw someone mention something about doing a factory restore along the line.

so based on what you are saying...

1) Charge to full in external charger
2) Place battery into phone, boot into recovery and wipe battery stats (or wipe battery stats before placing battery into phone?)
3) Let drain till shut off
4) Remove battery and charge to full in external charger...etc

Question: while the battery is in the external charger, can I put my spare battery in it or will it eff up the cycle? If I can't, then basically you are without a phone for 6+ hours...

Your last question is also my dilemma, which I have asked to no success before. I would love some help on this too. Be happy yours only takes 6 hours to charge. Mine is 12 plus hours to charge. I honestly have no idea if putting the stock back in messes it up. The app that was suggested to me is "Battery Left." It will analyze and give you the battery stats for more than one type of battery profile. It works really well for using a 1500 and 3000 together. Great app. The paid version gives you the access to more than one battery profile. I don't buy apps, but I bought this one...if that tells you anything.

As far as question 2, it doesn't matter because you're wiping battery stats in the phone, not the battery.....i'm pretty sure.

Been booted up with my Yoobao for 4 hours now, only 3% drain. Would of been at least 5-10% by now with stock.

[EDIT] Been 6 hours now, 5% drain. This realistically doesn't make much sense. It should at most last twice as long as the stock battery, since it's labeled as a 3000mah. On stock by now it would of most likely drained at the very least 20% by now I imagine. So my guess is HTC gave out bad batteries, it might explain why some users report great battery life, while others have terrible battery life.

Finally!!!!!!!!! received my 3000mah battery and accessories today!! Left work for a few minutes to go to the house and grab the package. I was happy that the battery fits just fine in my docking station with extra battery slot that I got from ebay a while back. I put it in there for its initial charging because I know that it works well. My stock battery gets much better life when charged in the battery slot as opposed to in the phone. In the package was also a stand alone battery charger, retractable usb/charging cable(will not sync), universal car carger for usb cables, 3000mah battery, and the extended battery cover. I ordered from the same seller as the OP, it just took mine a lot longer to get here than every one elses it seems. Will post my results over the next few days. I'm just stoked to finally have it and hope I dont HAVE to charge throughout the day any more...that will e great!!

even when i charge it in the external charger, i still get the big dropoff. Down to around 84% usually. This happens whether I wipe battery stats after inserting the new battery or not. I'm trying to just tell myself to just accept it in a zen sort of way but i can't help it...it bugs the crap out of me.

I have a question. Sorry if this has already been said but I just bought 3500mah battery off of ebay...do I need an external charger to charge the battery b/c some of you guys have them.
Thanks.

I just bought this one! I hope it's worth it because I can't deal with the stock battery for much longer. Now to the impossible task of finding a good, protective case with the added bulk...

Well, unfortunately it looks like no one makes a silicone or tpu case that will work with the extended battery door. So, some have been modifying their existing tpu cases to work with the extended battery door. Check out this thread here http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-accessories/172989-i-have-ghetto-cover-my-3500-mah-battery.html to get some ideas and see pics of what others are doing. If you do this as well, then please add your pics in here too. I will also be experimenting with some tpu and silicone cases this weekend and will post pics in that thread too. Good luck!!

I just received my 3000 from eBay today. Unfortunately when in my phone my phone just turns off. It'll stay on and then all my battery widgets say my battery is over heating and eventually Android System pops up and turns my phone off. Is there a way to get around this? Eh,.

50 hours since fully charged
39% left
2 and a half hours screen on
Needless to say, I am very happy. I would of been lucky to make it 24hours on stock.
