Do any of you have any results on the 2000 mah. Didn't I read it fits under the stock back? Fairly curious..

Just a reminder to users purchasing these. Charge them correctly and get the most out of your battery!! For the first charge I recommend wiping battery stats and powering the device down. Charge it while off until it says full, then wipe battery stats again, power down and rinse and repeat. Do this until it indicates it is full immediately after plugging it in. Then you should be gtg!!

So if I do this, start using the new extended battery, and then I want to switch back to stock battery do I have to do the same process? Just curious.

Also, does it have to be a wall charger? Could I use my phone charger or would that defeat the purpose?

Thanks for all the work yall have done so far btw!

You should use your phone charger. And yes do it every time you swap battery sizes out. Its also recommended to do it if you flash a rom.

Roger that. Cool, thanks for the prompt reply, I just got a 3800 battery and I was gonna use my phone charger. I'll have to order a charger for it then.

Would it be recommended to buy a charger through the same seller, or will any generic charger compatible (dimension/volt) with my battery work?

Usually any charger will work (using a blackberry charger now) but just be sure to get the same specs. You can use the stock charger to charge your battery until its calibrated and then use the wall charger if you'd like.

Just make sure you charge to 100% unplug the plug it back up and charge to full 100%. Good luck and let us know if you have a problem.

Ok so images were requested, and I have a few to show. Don't slaughter me. I'm no pro reviewer, and my bud who took these is no photographer. Just trying to share an experience.

First off, the real meaning of the matter. How much juice can I get.

As you can see by the % display time I was using it pretty heavily. Lots of streamed videos and tons of surfing mainly. My first charge lasted 24 hours with frequent as possible use but I had a pretty busy day then, so I used this shot from my second full charge.

Edit: I didn't use this the way i normally would for this charge. I had auto brightness off and brightness turned way up. Juice defender was disabled and wireless connections were active. I believe on average my charge would last 20+ hours, and I will be in bed and have it on the charger long before it is ready to expire.

A couple profile shots off the table. Apologizes for the war torn workbench, though it keeps the bills paid.

I like to eat and surf and was worried the bevel on the back would make it rock. Glad to say it does not.

And one more of the back, as you can see they are not indestructible. The back plate does not impede the speaker that I can tell. I use volume+ anyhow and it sounds fine.

I have to say overall I am very pleased with the battery and cover so far, especially for the price. As you can tell from the last photo, I did drop it. It was the first time I had dropped the phone in the 1.5 months or so I've owned it. It is because I was still not used to the weight and added bulk of the phone while pulling it out of my pocket on the move. It's not horrible damage but my friend tried to get a good shot of it to show you, otherwise it's utterly unnoticeable.

The phone is weighty, but I don't feel stressed out using it. It does have more bulk but I can still easily manipulate it with one hand. The back cover is cheap, but does the job. Something to note though. My reception dropped dramatically. I couldn't have that. So I looked into the manual where the antennae are located on the unit (page 111), I carefully peeled the copper foil from the stock cover and placed it on the new back upside down and with a slight curl to reach the bottom of the phone where the main call/data antenna is. My reception has been perfectly fine since. I was worried the gps and bluetooth would be affected by the placement of the copper but they seem to function just fine. I wish I had taken pictures of the copper but I am sorry I didn't think of it. It wasn't a big deal though, just be careful and use a sharp knife.

Overall a good experience, and I only spent about $12. Took some time to ship from china but that's about it. Still many left from various sellers on ebay. Before you take the plunge if you decide, just make sure you're buying from a high grossing top rated seller is the best advice I can give.

It is true that reception dropped dramatically," my messages were delayed and almost have no calls" but thanks to your post I did exactly what u did about the copper and boom reception is perfect.... thank you!!!:)

I have a Replenish battery... do you think that copper would work the same as the one on the Warp?

Yeah I think so. I would just try and be careful as to stick it close to the bottom of the phone where the main antenna is though not to cover up the speaker. If your willing to, you could scissor or exacto blade a little spot to make it fit in there without blocking it.

Edit, I think by "battery" you mean battery back cover?

I was contemplating getting the 3800 battery. I'm not even using the phone as extensively as some of you. But it only seems to last from about 9am to 3 or 4pm every day.

While I reading references to peeling back antenna foil due to reception issues I’m not sure I want to do that. I hope that’s really not needed.

But please correct me if I’m wrong but I seem to be getting that these larger batteries can still be charged while in the phone with the standard charger that comes with Warp.

I do not have a rooted phone so I’m not quite sure what is being discussed about resetting battery stats.

Can this be done without rooting or losing any info on phone?

Yes it can be charged in the phone usual. And no you don't need root. It's just a battery. All you have to do is put it in the phone
