Help Ally V9 SW update.

I'm running the v09 now, but it has no Market icon. Am I the only one with this issue, cuz no post on this problem. Also I have flashed the phone to another carrier, Cricket, and cannot get evdo/3g to appear. Please advise

You should not be using V09. This was an premature update released by LG and quickly pulled.

Please restore to stock and update to v8 and to vb and do a hard reset. Vol Down+Home+End. Restore to stock here: http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-root/166588-how-flash-stock-lg-rom.html

As dots said. V9 was a premature update. and was pulled.

I came from v8 updated to vb prior to the v9 version. I knew that the v9 was a premature release, that's why I loaded it hopping it was a dev type ROM with less restrictions. So at this point I'm ROM shopping to find one that would work on 3g/evdo. So far it has not been prevailing.

I was hinted that it has something to do with the Kernel, so I'm still shopping. I have also checked the NAM/data params and all are correct.

I am currently running V8 along with dres. Newest O.C. kernel and Velocity 3...will V9 make any kind of difference?

With velocity 0.3 you are actually running VZB not v8.

V9 was a leaked update that wasnt finished/polished. DO NOT INSTALL THIS SOFTWARE UPDATE!

V9 may have been an early vzb build and vzb is trash.


Why hasn't this been locked yet?
