So then I guess I'll keep my eyes focused on the Optimus G for now...

Not necessarily, the Galaxy Nexus was on the Google play store and also on Verizon. I wouldn't rule out a CDMA model. Sprint seems to be about 6 months behind for nexus devices, so I would expect about the same timeframe.
Yeah, looks like any CDMA variants will be announced later. Google has gone back to T-Mo for initial phone release here in the States, like they did with everything outside of the GNex. I find it amusing that T-Mo's landing page for the Nexus 4 touts their "nationwide 4G" network, when what they're getting with this Nexus is only HSPA+ 21 (not even the 42 they like to call 4G).
I still hold that an LTE version is coming, it just looks like it will be coming a lot later.

Actually if you get it through Tmobile it will support HSPA+ 42
T-Mobile drives the price up on Nexus 4; offering Nexus 7 plans
Time to focus my attention back on the Optimus G then.....
and weigh on if it's worth trading in my Galaxy S3 for
Anyone know if Sprint will get the Nexus 4? Have not seen anything on a CDMA version.

So far Andy Rubin says there will be no CDMA versions. But that can change. Sprint always gets the Nexus phones months later. We'll see.
I could honestly see this remaining true. I mean really Sprint and Verizon have both done a great job of ruining the Nexus name. Look at how slow updates are on CDMA Nexus phones. The Nexus S 4G didn't get ICS for months after my wife's GSM Nexus had it via OTA.
The 2 things people love most about the Nexus line is the Android OS with out bloat and fast updates. You don't always get both of those with CDMA Nexus phones.
I don't recall seeing this on the list, sorry if I missed it -

Interesting if true - I'd be looking for some improvements in their overlay as well.
Wait - I just caught that the Optimus G has a glass back. I must be slow or something.
Puts that out of the running for WifelyMon's next phone.

I thought WifelyMon needed a physical qwerty keyboard though. Neither the LG Mach or Photon Q will work for her?
Here's the upcoming specs on that one.
