Root Anybody running CM7 source?

yeah i have the new market ... but there are no real changes man ... and i am up on running on 51 for about 12 hours now and there is not a thing i can find wrong or buggy now the cam is working my wifi is working and with the new kernal that should be out in the next build or two i see this thing as fully done
 
yeah the new market comes with it, but there is a new version out, droid life said they thought it was supposed to fix some bugs and a security issue?
 
Does anyone know if hardware acceleration has been added? My homescreen and app drawer doesn't scroll as smoothly as they should. Does anyone else have this issue?
 
humm i looked through xda and it dosent look like it because people like me are having a problem running qudrant because the acceleration is not there

Yeah quadrant doesn't work for me either. The 3D fps tests only show as black screens.
 
i have no issue with the scroll but i have my inc over clocked to the highest setting with interactive use on set cpu ... you might wanna try that ??? might help

Haha my battery has to last me all day lol, so overclocking it might not be my best bet. Honestly its not bad, and barely noticeable for me. Thanks for the info though!
 
Loaded build 53. Had issues with touchscreen not working properly. Went back to build 45 which seems to run best on my Inc
 
I've been having issues with my proximity sensor. I am on Build#50.5
Anyone else having issues with the proximity sensor?
 
flashed 52 last night, cant add my facebook account. never logged in either but i just opened facebook and bam didn't ask me for my email and password. weird. Just a little disappointing that i cant sync my contacts with facebook this build.

Edit: also having problems with phone going to sleep. Been off the charger for 13 mins, didn't turn the screen on but one time, donw to 92% from 100 already, has only spent 3 of those 13 minutes sleeping. Screen timeout set to 15s. Is there something im missing? anything to change how quickly it goes to sleep?

IN facebook, go into settings. At the bottom, should give you option to sync contacts.
 
thanks, i might flash something else while waiting for the RC to come out, i flashed myns last night and liked it, but couldnt bring myself to stick with 2.2 even though my battery on any 2.2 rom has been way better than what i am getting now.

Quadrant works as of at least 1/15 source, but I am also getting black screens on the 3D fps tests.

Getting around 1450 without OC.

Same black screen on some 3D games (SpeedX is my favorite :()
 
Wow... 52, 53, and 54 all today... geez!! I'm running #51, and the only issues I'm having is not being able to run 3D fps screens in Quadrant (hopefully the hardware accelerators will be added soon), and I can't get into my Sound Settings (immediately force closes every time). Other than that, it's all good, so I'm gonna stick with this one until we have RC1.
 
For those of you having "odd" issues (i.e., issues not widely reported), it is advised in the XDA thread that you do a full wipe and reinstall. That seems to fix A LOT of the weird issues people have. I was running 52 after a full wipe (first CM7 ROM) and had no issues whatsoever (except the Quadrant issue but that's well known). Flashed 53 over 52 without a wipe and it's running great. No major bugs and running great!

I'll stick with 53 for awhile - don't really want to be flashing new builds every day.
