Are you a Mac or PC?

PC. I use it for games and for my cell phone stuffs.

I have a 13" MBP at school with me, but at home, the three or four desktops we have are PCs, as is my previous notebook and my dad's as well.

Switched sides this April and never looked back.

I enjoy them both, though.

I have a core i7 oc'd to 4ghz, 16 gb of DDR 3 ram, 3 EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTS 480's in SLI, and a 3tb RAID with a 250 GB SSD RAID for my most played games, apps, and OS. All cooled with liquid cooling. Oh, and a massive 900 watt power supply. All custom made running Win7 Ultimate x64 dual booting with openSUSE.
 
Windows and Linux. I've used OSX plenty of times for work and home, and I just find it too Playskool and limited.
 
PC (XP for now) at work.
mac, PC and Linux at home (one each on 3 separate rigs). I'm going to be adding a second linux rig to run dual with the PC machine sometime soon.

I use Windows because I have to and because some things I need just won't run with anything else.

I love the mac for media applications (thought that could be because the machine is a monster from a hardware POV) and for it's super clean packaging. It's programs are very well done, but the OS is not necessarily flexible.

Linux is my favorite of them all. I run Linux Mint 9 on my netbook but have played with most of the major distros. I love it because you get most the positive features of both windows and mac, with very few of the downsides of either. That plus even with it's super rock solid capability, Linux has much more Eye candy than any of the commercial OSs.
 
PC. I'm running an Intel Core i5 750 @ 3.8GHz, 4GB DDR 1600MHz, and a Radeon HD 5770. My main use is gaming (mostly MMOs).

I don't dislike Apple products as much as I dislike Steve Jobs himself. Most of the products are pretty good, but Jobs' (and, in turn, the company's) "better than you" attitude just rubs me the wrong way.

I would have to agree with you. There has been several times I have thought of buying an iPod, was even thinking about an iPhone for a little bit but I just can't break down and buy an Apple product.
 
I have an issue installing this new Ubuntu version and dual-booting it on OSX. I really liked it about two years ago, but just never really spent too much time with it.

I'm ready to try again. It gives me an error when I put it in the disc drive on my MBP.
 
I custom build my desktops and like to game on the go, so it's Windows 7 for me. Occasionally I like to play with Ubuntu as well, but I never have found a use for OSX other than looking like a computer-illiterate hipster in Starbucks (which appears to be the only use for OSX).
