Holding off on voting until the final 2/16-3/32 $1,000,000 :questionmark: is answered.

Getting the G3 doesn't preclude me from getting the S5/M8 Prime(s),or the OPO.

I'm optimistic on the 3/32 option for most markets/major carriers,w/the 2/16 variant possibly being offered to the pre-paid carriers.

And if purchased, that would make it your 10th phone this year? :p

Pretty close, dating back to 4/2013,since switching from SPRINT to T-MOBILE (damn T-MO & their JUMP):D

S3(SPRINT)>M7>N3>G2>G-FLEX>M8. (Still have the M8 & FLEX as of this posting). :p

EVERYONE NEEDS A HOBBY,never thought this would be the one that sticks..... :D

It all depends on if that rumored moto phablet is coming out this summer. If not, then definitely the G3.

Its one sexy looking phone.

The SD card and removable battery are sure going to bring attention to it from the crowd of people who won't go without it.

I'll be interested in seeing how the development-end of the community unfolds.

I'd be more inclined to buy a G2 than a G3. The G2 is already iffy in terms of size and weight, so larger than that would likely be a deal breaker for me.

Also, can someone explain to me why a removable battery is so important to some people?

..the second it will be available for T-Mo..

I will have to test this 4K video though and compare it with my 1080/60p video from x920.

Makes two of us, I also left Sprint for T-mo and never looked back.

I6000->Nokia521->G2->F6->Ultra Z->G3..

Still have i6000 and Ultra Z.

So..I am the only one buying G3 unconditionally here? :(

I don't even care that much about the price anymore.

If this puppy will give me a decent video, I'll be way ahead in financial terms.

After seeing a Tweet stating that the 3/32 is a go for the T-Mobile variant, it's almost a certainty for me.

Extended batteries or swapping batteries for the ones that have to go a while without a charge.

Or if like me, you hand your phones down to others once done with them. Mrs Presidente needs a replacement battery for my old One X and to replace it's going to cost us an arm and a leg (compared to what it would cost if the battery was user replaceable).

I guess these are good reasons, but personally not important to me. Though of course, having the option to remove it would be preferable I guess.

For me it's always an extended battery. Until my 2 current (LG g2 and moto g), I've always used an extended battery.

If Verizon offer the 3/32 version, 90% yes. If only the 2/16 version that I expect them to offer, 0.00000000% no. The decimals are to point out how "hell no" it would be.

If I had an upgrade coming soon, I most likely would (not in financial terms to drop 650-700 on this)

16gb normally suites me just fine, had plenty of space left on my g2 with the actual 24gb space left.

If I eventually jump on the g3 with 16/2 I can see that being more than enough since it'll have an sd slot for my music, videos etc, even more so if I root and use link2sd like I did with my 16gb s3

This is another area lost one me: this 16, 32 whatever jazz. What is that, storage? Is it actually needed? Does it provide some sort of benefit beyond storage, like increased speed or anything? That would be nice.

I barely have any pics or vids, so I suspect I need very "storage", and my current phones -- an iphone 4 and an LG lucid from 2 years ago -- probably offer little.

16/2 32/3 is storage/ram

If you already have a g2 like some of us here, me included it's pretty much on par if not a partial downgrade.

If you was to get the 16gb model you'd have maybe 8-10gb user space.

That's why there's all the hate against the 16gb model when the g2 came with 32gb no less.

Most of the above is gibberish to me, so I'm guessing storage is a non-issue for me for any modern phone. Is this "ram" you speak related to speed of the phone in any way?
