Root avalon for liberty

this theme got me banned from another un-named droid forum
so ill post it up here. (actually my unwillingness to put up with others bad attitutde and know it all bossy approach got me banned; not so much the theme. didnt like that forum anyway....lol. :D).

anyway, it has the same issues as the fission one, i may try some changes to a light grey on pop up....we'll see.

avalon test for liberty.zip

Right on, now people who like this theme can use it for Liberty.......it's been "Liberated".........lol ;)

The avalontest.zip loaded up fine but there were definitely noticeable flaws. The dialer and a few other things seemed to be off centered and messed up. With that said, it's nice to find a place to see the progress of this! Thanks for the hard work and I hope this continues!

Dont know who ud is.
Id think the guy would be honored people want h his theme.
Or at leaste not do open source work on android platform if he was gonna be stingey.
Oh well.

Oh well.

UD is ultimate droid. unless a themer says do not port this theme without my permission i think it is free range as long as someone is not profiting off it. but then there is a gray area with stuff like this so, eh happy themeing :)

kinda how i look at it.
im not taking credit for it and im not selling it....so eh, to bad....

Why would he not want it ported to Liberty? Is he in a fued with Kejar &/or JRummy or something?

I find it rather amusing how open source is lost on some people.

i don't like that other forum much either.
can you post a screen of this theme? i haven't used fission in a long time so i am unfamiliar with avalon

Sweet. I want to see how it turns out....it sure was hard to see those numbers, practically impossible unless you put the phone right up to your face :p

i gotta work straight through the weekend and next week....but ill keep on it....
may get a chance tonight :)

after you found those .png's (i spent an insane amount of time looking for those....lol) the only thing left is to grey the pop ups instead of black them, re-.9 them and then test.

You got banned? Oh jeez. That's like banning Superman.

Edit: Love you, never liked the white theme, though. ;)

^lol...i dont like it much either....but i guess others do....thanks man :)
-----------
side note: finally away from work, ill start on this today....
(and post a link to the original theme thread, so credit can be given....even if the orig dev. doesnt want).

anyone want to test for visibility issues?

think thanks to bouchigo they incoming call deal is fixed and looks like other issues as well, by color change.

i gave it a grayish looks so black and white text is visible.
i really dont run this theme, so if anyone would test and report back that would be cool.

posted it in top link as well.

avalon test 3 for liberty.zip

any of you guys that downloaded this want to report back if you have any visibility issues anywhere?

(the version 3 that i put up today)

Based on your screenshots - oooohhhh, I want it now.

Currently I'm running DarkSlide v4.2, but tomorrow I'm going to sbf, root, then install Liberty. What do I do then? Get the Liberty toolbox and install your theme? Or just use Bootstrap/ClockworkMod to install the theme once I've installed Liberty?

not my theme, i just ported it to run on liberty.
original dev post/credits here;
[WIP] Avalon Android - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

it is not/probably not as good as the original devs work, meaning i wouldnt go through a ton of trouble to switch roms and everything else just to run this theme....now if you are switching roms and want to try it out; then sure.

it is just a ported over version....and a real pain in the arse one to work with at that....lol....

matter of fact its more of a continuing mess of testing theme port....then a whole theme.

i just throw themes on my sd card and use bootstrap to install without wiping anything but i use mounting.
