Root Awesome Android Update 4 Released

Ok android system is running real high was up to 180 at one time my memory is around 200 with stock and 60 with awesome....love the Rom just wondering if it was issue for anyone else

Google now runs really well (velvet.apk) but the trebuchet search bar doesn't match. Any chance you can make the new 4.2 white search bar an option? The white bordered version is also crazy ugly and reminds me of honeycomb :P.

I actually think blue/black looks wicked. Might be overplayed to veterans of modding but it's a really nice combo and the gmail is AWESOME. Themes are personally selective anyway. Choose it or don't, right? LOVE THE POWER OF OPTION!:smokingsomb:

I'm with you, no offense intended, just personal preference. And switching back to back stock gmail isn't difficult. To each his own, android FTW.
 
Yeah I prefer things to be as stock as possible and have since replaced my gmail app with the original one. I also don't like Apollo so I removed it lol. Personal preference is all. That is the only remotely negative thing I can say about this rom lol. It's the best I've used so far. Also I reinstalled Swype lol

The Shinjitsu jellybean keyboard has Swype built into it. I'm a big fan of the MixZing media player myself because of its extensive list of options but it seems like Apollo is the only dang app to fully function with stereo Bluetooth for some reason, lol. Gotta face it tho, Shinru has the best ROM out for this handset so far! Yeah! :D
 
what is actually the newest ROM here? is it shinjitsu? or awesome ROM update 2? i notice people referring to their rom as shinjitsu so im a little confused... right now i flashed awesome ROM with updates 1 and 2 over the top, but im not seeing many of the features people are mentioning.

Awesome Android: update 2 is the newest ROM from Shin. The Shinjitsu ROM was the original version of Awesome Android before the name change to Awesome Android.

thank you... i havent found somr features ive seen mentioned here, such as advanced calling options, and a few others i cant remember at the moment....


also, @shin, anyway of adding an advanced power menu and quick settings in the notification area??

U can flash the overclock kernel but it has a memory leak.. so I would stick with what u got til it gets worked out
 
im so happy to be on my off week, valentines day kicked my arse. Walgreens booms on v-day! I was so wore out lol. Almost done with pulldown then on to power menu :p
