Root Awesome Android Update 4 Released

That kernel was used on shinjitsu rom and now the dev (downthemachine) that oc that kernel is not longer working on this kernel anymore, don't know who's gonna take over that project next. sorry for my confusion!

Yeah i hope someone picks it up cause once this phone has a good kernel to go along with Awesome Android it'll really shine. But as of now i find myself trying to figure out what bills i CSB shuffle around to get the GSII. Lol. Or even a flashed GS3...
 
Haven't heard anything from shin since like noon. I'm going to sleep as well... hopefully its uploaded in the A.M. Night gentlemen.
 
I ran into issues coding it, will have to continue later. I got frustrated and had to step away. Lol, even the best of us still get angry after to many failures.

Of course I'm porting it from xperia which is difficult.

Shin, I'm not sure I could deal with the pressure as well as you describe your doing.

I mean, come ON guy's, what are you thinking? Do you think, you HELP his creativeness? Are you giving him the space, and time to work free from an arbitrary (and imaginary) time-line?

What's the hurry? Were fortunate, to be running TWO of Shin's ROM's on this phone right now!

Let's all give our man Shinru, the elbow room, to take all the time he want's.

I totally agree asking and rushing only makes things worse look at this form as a present you don't get to open the present until its actually given to you no matter how much you want it or you talked about it

I needed a camera that wasn't upside down and mms so cm10 cant be my daily driver but instead of complaining I went back to the first ROM he posted shinjitsu and I'm fine with it I'll wait until he works the bugs out why rush the only person that's helping ask zte or boost Mobile for an update and they'll give you broken software or not update you at all so stop being impatient

I couldn't agree more me monkey friend. Tis like the people of my town trying to rush me for today's delivery of me goat's milk. I can't rush me dear ladies...I just smile and tell them, "in due time me friend...in due time." Now if you will excuse me I have to get back to tending to me herd...we are practicing for our version of the Harlam Shake...tis quite difficult I must say...but still nothing compared to the work of our dear friend Shin!:rolleyes:

Kinda off topic but does anyones phone model number list the "Samsung Galaxy Nexus" instead of the "N861" in the settings? or.. is it just me?..

This ROM (Awesome Android) by our developer friend Shinru, his 2nd ROM specifically for ZTE Warp Sequent phone's, does indeed get read as the Galaxy Nexus.

And because it does, it solved a problem the earlier Shinjitsu update 5 had seemingly unwittingly caused for my phone.

I'd lost USB access to my sd-card, when plugged in, and no reinstalling of drivers could change that.

Than, fortunately, Awesome Android, (or Galaxy Nexus), is again wide open when USB plugged in and set to media, even with USB debug clicked on.

I ask you is there ANYTHING Shinru can't do? :)
 
Hey guys, i was wondering if an issue im having is just my phone or if its an awesome Android issue. Whenever I do something like opening/closing texts, going through settings, or anything else like that i get a red border around my phone, almost like its taking a screenshot, anyone else experience this? In running Awesome Android update 2, stock kernel, with the awesome theme, any input would be appreciated...
