Made a blue version of green machine

Here it is gm blue, changed the boot animation to show blue and green particles as a knod to green machine

Made the current theme I'm using for the 1-18 build. Decided to post it up here for anyone interested. Started with Benslgdroid's "the blues" theme then tweaked a few things to my preference.

Ben. You have the boot animation set to install to the wrong place. This will make the boot animation permanent even if another theme is flashed. You should change the location from "sense rom" to "cyanogen rom"

If someone has already flashed this theme and is stuck with this boot animation it can be reversed. Using a root file explorer, find where the boot animation installed, and delete the boot animation file. Brotherswing found this solution. I will find the post if need be.

I've also noticed that under the file upload tab you always leave the "Select flashable zip scripting" "update-binary" setting as "type mtd (default)". I always change mine to optimus. Maybe this is why I always have to replace the themes update binary apk with the roms update binary apk after I download the theme from the kitchen. If I don't replace this file the theme will not flash. I believe sadielynn reported the same issue earlier in this thread with having to replace the update binary apk.

1-18 of the blues also has the same issues explained by g19. Probably why i didnt notice anything with the boot animation it would have over wrote each other

Thanks for the info. I bet I won't have to change the update binary apk if I do that.

::UPDATE:: Just tried it, worked perfectly. I didn't need to replace the update res apk after I downloaded the theme from uotkitchen.

I just tried to flash it, the one time I didn't test it first, and it wouldn't flash so I will be changing it back.

I decided to create my own theme to get what I want.

How do you make the status bar black all the time in the theme?
Here is my problem. When I go to the market, the status bar turns grey. When using Handcent and texting, the status bar is white.
In the UoT Kitchen, I select the status bar color to black. I must be missing a setting.

For me to keep the status bar black I have to go to CyanogenMod settings under Interface / Status bar tweaks and select ROM.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Looks nice. The status bar glitch your seeing comes from setting it transparent. If you didn't do that in the Uot kitchen, then it's in menu-settings-Cyanogenmod settings-interface-status bar tweaks.

I do not think I had the trasparent box check marked...


Anyway I updated the pictures and download link with the modified theme. A few tweaks and changed the battery icon to a circle which I like much better. Enjoy

I keep Quicksilver updated, but I've let my other themes get outdated. Is there any interest in updates for those? I have to budget my time very carefully these days, and if there's no demand for those themes, I won't bother. Let me know, I try to oblige, but not if there is no interest.

I've decided to share all of my uot files with everyone. I'm just to busy to maintain anything but Quicksilver, so if anybody is interested in the other themes you can cook an update. This also makes it much easier for anyone who wants to use one of my themes for a base.
