I knew from the start of the season that the Royals had a record breaking team. Sure enough, they shattered their franchise record with only 28 wins through the first 100 games. Thems my boys!!
Well, record breaking is an accomplishment - in a way. It's good to be a record holder. Go them?
It's not easy to be that bad. They'll likely lose tomorrow and be swept by the yanks. That cuts deep
Watching Sox at Twins. Ninth inning tied 3-3. Top of the 10th, runner starts on 2nd base. So stupid. A couple of impatient people complain about the game being too long. Once again the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I don't think it was we the people that complained. It was the big boys with the big bucks trying to make the game more attractive to view in a smaller time slot.
The Royals won today. I don't know how and I certainly don't know why. It was like watching a fantasy flick and thinking, that just isn't possible.
No gift tonight. The Royals lost in normal fashion.
I saw the Yankees and Royals this past weekend in NYC!
It was my first time in the new Yankee stadium. Pretty dope experience, but definitely not one of my favorite stadiums in the league.
Nicest MLB stadium I have been to is Orioles Park at Camden Yards.

I've lived in Baltimore area for 30+ years. Camden Yards is a gem. Definitely my favorite stadium although I really enjoy the modern, open concourses, which unfortunately OPACY lacks. For concessions/bathrooms, you walk through a tunnel/hallway which leads you to a separated concourse, and kind of removes you from the game experience.
That being said, compare it to Fenway and it's the brand spankin' new.
I guess the Royals are getting a new stadium. Too bad they don't have a team.
Maybe they will make a special section at the new stadium where you can sit and watch a different game somewhere.
i have only been to two stadiums to watch MLB baseball, Anaheim and Dodger Stadium...........i love Dodger Stadium, hated Anaheim of course. been to Dodger Stadium for some memorable games since i was 5 years old.

My wife had a friend at work with a husband who had access to Wrigley Field tickets. The tickets were right behind the opponents dugout. I was at a game when Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire were leading the league in home runs. I saw close up what steroids did to McGuire. I have strong, large legs. McGuire's arms were the size of my legs. I couldn't believe it when I saw it.
yeah to bad they were juiced up. it was fun while it lasted though.
it will be a few years before i do anything like that........definitely something i will do before i leave this earth.
WTF!!!!!!! we need a designated closer. Toronto just opened it up in the 9th. we have no closer and no strong arm to keep us in the game consistently. its now 7-3 in the middle of the nineth.
