A pretty close race so far. It seems odd to see the Royals in the race. They are normally in the Chicago slot.
The Royals are up six in the top of the sixth.

The Royals won last night. Their game wasn't on the plex tonight but the were posting the score. They put up two runs in the top of the 9th to win 2-1 at the Angels. It would have been fun to watch.

Chicago White Sox? I think you mean the Nashville White Sox. Unless the state of Illinois give the White Sox $1 billion for a new stadium, they are moving to Nashville. Last time in 1990 the threat was moving to Florida unless they got free money 🤣

The Royals won their last two games but I'm not sure beating the Angels counts. It's like beating the Royals the last few years.... no biggie. Everyone beats em.

The Royals wrapped up their series with the Angels with a win and winning the series 3-1. They start a three game series against the Mariners tonight. We can't seem to gain any games in the ALC and remain in third place.

The Mariners pretty much out-classed the Royals last night. I don't see us winning that series :) They had no trouble lighting up our better starting pitcher and they kept us scoreless most of the game. Oh well.... can't win them all.

I saw the darndest thing yesterday. I've watched a lot of baseball and this was a first. During the Royals / Mariners game last night a deep foul ball just barely in the left field stands was caught by a spectator. The very next pitch the ball was fouled off and went directly to the same spectator. He sat there holding up both balls. I have never seen that happen.

The Royals won tonight so they won't be swept by the Mariners. Tonight's win is #26 for the season. Last year they got their 26th win July 9th. We aren't having a bad season so far. Last year we were just terrible. TERRIBLE!

The Royals won game one against the As. They were celebrating the 2014 team tonight. It was fun seeing those guys again. They had a lot of home grown talent on that team and most all of them stayed to win the series in 2015.

Boston has now almost perfected the art of beating themselves and are currently on a 4 game losing streak. Their current game plan seems to be going into the late innings tied or with a run then just playing like little leaguers and making at least 4 errors for a ton of unearned/avoidable runs.

I've been watching and rooting Clem. I think they learned that bad baseball from the Royals. They play similar ball...yes. :( I hope they can turn it around. The team has talent but has lost the late game mojo.
You can't worry about plays and they are in late innings. They need to gain that closing confidence... and so do the Royals.

The Royals got the win and the sweep against the A's today. They gave up a three run homer in the top of the nineth but still won 8-4. Tomorrow they open a home series against the Tigers. Another sweep would be way too much to hope for but winning the series would be huge.
