Yup, 1.2.1 is awesome
Haiz, are you thinking of the HTC Sense method of syncing facebook contacts?

I just installed the "CyanogenMod-6 for Hero CDMA - V6.0.0" rom a couple of days ago and honestly the only time I remember my phone running as fast and smooth as it is now is when I had android 1.6 running one of the Fresh roms with overclock. Before Cyanogen I was running Fresh 2.4 (Android 2.1) and it was ok but my phone just kept lagging to much. This was the reason I considered trying the android 2.2 roms. I'm really happy I did (so far at least). The only downside is that Flash doesn't work on this rom, but it runs so damn fast and smooth that I really don't care. If your hero lags try a 2.2 rom, I've had excellent results with mine!

I know that's a subjective question but, to anyone who's flashed their Hero with 2.2, can you let me know which one you have (Cronos, Fusion, etc...) and how it's doing?
I'm very tempted...![]()

you couldnt give me a link to it me because i want to get rid of froyd 1.5 having issues which are explained on my own thread.I'm running the latest nightly build (124) of Cyanogen 2.2 for GSM hero.
Very very nice. Super smooth and a lot of the bugs have gone from the Alpha.
Camera works fine as well as video, gps etc. I'd definitley recommend this rom.
I use the CyanogenMod 6.1 (2.2.1) on my cdma HTC Hero.....Flawless.
What are the advantages of Sense over stock Android?
In short which one is the most reliable and bug free so far?

He released a new version today as well, based on CM 6.2.
