Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

Got ya! No see my problem is, it will play the video but once it starts, it locks up my phone.
The video keeps playing and I can't exit out.

Did you apply a new nightly? Did you wipe dalvik cache before applying it? You might want to do that now.

Ugh, I was recording a video yesterday and the app locked up. Went to close it, and my phone felt hot as hell. Tried to restart, but it wasn't going anywhere. Had to do a battery pull, when I launched it up, it would not allow me to use the SD Card. Kept checking it for errors. Had to format it all :(

On the bright side it feels faster :D

Applied new nightly formatting data/cache to fix the issue where I can't change settings. It fixed it. I was cooking along all day, ran a RM backup.... settings are pooched again. Can't make any changes that stick and now even my themes don't persist through a reboot. I'm getting really frustrated at this point.

I havent tried wifi in few days, been getting really good signal at home.

Anyone else start to get really bad lag on texting? Gonna flash 45 and see if it pops up there too.

Wifi always works for me. my biggest issue is on occasion the screen wont come off when it goes off and I have to pull the battery, and no voice mail notifications. Which on the vm notification I know a reset will fix, just dont feel like redoing all my apps lol

For the last couple of weeks i have been having trouble restoring backups made with CWR V4.0.0.5, I get MD5 mismatch error. I have not been doing anything different that I know of. What could be causing this error? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I figured it out, dumb mistake. I started renaming my backups and put a space in the new file name. Took the space out and all is good now.

I just flashed the latest nightly and I learned something, do not try to boot into recovery when your phone is plugged into the charger. On a side note, when rebooting, don't have it plugged in. It will boot but be in a black screen.

ah that explains it lol, will have to make a note of that so when I am asked that again lol.

Yup got the same here, pita it is lol. I'm sure it will get fixed tho along with everything else in time. Until then there are the fixes we can flash. Have you read all the cry baby comments in rom manager?? lol some ppl shouldn't be allowed to have phones I swear.

I tried that, but it kinda made my phone lag, believe it or not. I think that this rom is fast enough without it.
But I do got a question, a while back an unthrottle for data was released for the X, would that work on CM7?
shouldnt be any throttle in CM7 ;)
I'm on nighrly #46. Just came from that other new rom. Lol. I can undervolt this correct?
I use jrummy's android overclock and it has been working great for me. have mine set on medium voltage @1.25Ghz and pulled a 3145 on Antutu benchmark.

so even though you are grandfathered unlimited data you dont have it, such is the same with AT&T who pay that ridiculous 40$-50$ a month (not sure exactly) for unlimited data, and if you go over a certain amount of data, they begin throttling you, same as t-mobile, so basically your never going to get true unlimited data from anyone

If they are throttling at the server level (provider side, not phone side), which is what they do, then nothing you do will help you.
