Bizarre battery problems cropped up during romming

Oh, and I'm sick as a dog today and thinking fuzzy when I talk so make me repeat anything that doesn't make sense.

I said a day before, I just meant - some time, like - an hour or so. :o

Sorry to hear this sir, you take care of yourself.....:)

Interesting and weird.

Next trial - turn off location services in main settings and browser if you have to.

Reboot.

Re-monitor for an hour or two.

Are you running any social apps?

Are you running Talk or Hangouts?

My location services are always off.

What should i do with browser?

No social apps whatsoever. I don't even have it on my phone anymore

So we can skip these steps?

Also... I'm down to 24% battery so should I do any specific tests when I recharge?

Pardon any distraction, but am showing 34 wakeups from ds battery saver in greenify. Is that too many? Been running a lot Battery is doing well and has been great with Project X, but maybe little more drained than usual If I greenify battery saver will that nullify it's purpose, or should I eliminate? I don't feel the need for thorough troubleshooting if that makes sense, though am trying to pay attention and learn, so no worries if there's not a simple suggestion based on this info and thank yall for everything!

That wifi analyzer mentioned worked great. Had no idea neighbors settings and mine were interferring like that. Was able to dial in the exact channel after testing to set jetpack to, and no more bandwidth interference, now all speeds tested are way faster too after testing. Really neat, was oblivious to that before reading EarlyMon suggestion here in methodically determining a solution to battery drain issue. Glad it's in the process of getting resolved for you man, and am gonna rehash to learn from all sensei support here. Thanks for the clarification G. Hey could you clear up what I should set roaming guard at. Can interpret what it means, whether it contradicts enabling roaming data and voice, is it protection or what? Like in a valley, think may need roaming to make sure messages go out and everything works being here in a spot that is tough on reception? Sorry if off topic, but maybe it isn't as far as looking for signal component. Or is the guard protection like a firewall when roaming? Anyway glad battery is getting resolved proper.

Generally you do not need roaming enabled on Boost. Boost doesn't support roaming so having the phone try to connect to a roaming tower only to get refused is a waste of power.

Having your WiFi configured to avoid being on the same channel as the neighbor is a good thing to do. I once did this for an entire apartment complex where everyon's Router was set to use channel 6 (older routers default). I quietly walked around with my laptop changing their routers channel so everyone was separated from their nearest neighbors and they could then use their WiFi all the way out to the picnic area by the pool.

OK. Sorry I didn't repost new stats last night. Worked from 7 to 3 in the morning and PASSED OUT... Anyway, still not normal, but for whatever reason there was a slight improvement in the discharge rate of last night and the night before. I went from 100% to 43% after 9 1/2 hours of the screen off, as opposed to the night before where I went from 100% to around 20%.. Greenify was off since yesterday. Still not normal, but better for some reason.

What really doesn't make sense though is how I'm having horrible battery life on a cleanly flashed ROM like X v3.0, without having any of my apps and settings involved. You would think that if it was due to apps, settings, or maybe what I debloat, that the newly flashed ROM would have zero problems because I haven't done any of those things to it and it still acts up... Anyway, just my observation. Posting screenshots from this morning now.. Standby

If you've added zero apps whatsoever, then I wonder if you have some lower level firmware issue with the rom.

I'm not familiar enough with your phone to know what firmware versions exist, so this idea could easily be malarkey.

Should I go to a cleanly flashed version and run tests there? Or would it not tell you anything?

BTW I cleared data on Google services. There's another option to delete updates...

I'm gonna charge battery up and go to clean flash project x 2.8. I've been using my phone heavy for 45 minutes and have lost 45%!! Not good...
