Root [Boost Mobile] BootLoader/Warp Drive

i'm guessing you don't have the android debug bridge installed, in which case you would need that first. there is plenty of documentation on how to set that up. But your going to need that first and foremost. Or if you have warp drive you can open cmd prompt.

CD <location of the warp drive folder>

ex CD C:/Users/Shinru2004/Desktop/Warp-Drive/

then you can use the adb commands once you inside the folder

try adb devices a few times while its booting if it comes up with your device then you have a connection. I would suggest trying ti while booting and while trying to access the recovery, one or the other SHOULD allow access.

this is on my linux box but the theory is the same

I had cyanoid 1.0 then reflashed noobVi, cause cyanoid 1.0 had problems, then tried to flash cyanoid2.0. Thats when all this started

I'll check it out, and be back later I suppose. I just hate learning new software!!!:mad:
 
anyone else reported these issues? i will check out the zip to see if it flashes a recovery.

try the steps i posted to see if you get any input from adb

just download warp drive lol then you can use the simple commands which is all you need. extract to your desktop then CD (Change Directory) to it.
 
I'm glad it's on linux, I'm much more familiar with that these days.
I know all about the terminal window!!
 
I am always logged in as root user anyway, but I still need a command, like sudo/get.
or whatever it is.

Yes! I downloaded the 2.1 Cynanoid today and flashed in TWRP. After the install completed, it wouldn't boot up into the ROM. I tried flashing stock first then reflashing, in all about 3x in TWRP, and it would just boot back into recovery. I flashed CWM and tried 2x more and same thing, now it would boot into CWM recovery. Finally decided to give up and post on the Rom thread. I'm obviously lucky I didn't get stuck in a boot loop.

BTW the zip should flash the TWRP recovery...
 
ok let me know once its installed, if i start typin bs its because i'm slightly tipsy..... lmao
