Here is the base. There are no init.d mods at this time, and no build.prop tweaks. Hiddenmenu.apk has been added, and the proxy settigns can be accessed through the settings menu. Merc's integrated CPU control has been added. All the bloat ware has been purged, and a few apps have been added to easy the development process. I can post screen shots latter, but I have a few things I have to attend to right now. My first benchmark on this build was 5793.

Do not flash this rom if you have not run a custom rom before. We are not responsible if you damage your phone.

Actually since there is no dialer support for hidden menu we don't need the msl utility as the settings shortcut bypasses a need for msl.

It's far from new lol But I found it here:

Emode without ZTEDialer - ZTE Blade / Libra ROMs & ROM customisation - MoDaCo

I posted a thread on it months ago, but just remembered it existed today with all this talk of hiddenmenu and such. It's kinda moot now that you got the actual hiddenmenu working, but it may be useful. With this, we could maybe even strip the hiddenmenu APK file out and let folks who want the ability use this instead... just a thought :)

Right, but there are other situations besides the hidden menu when one would need their msl. Manual programming of the device, unlocking of the phone for use with certain software, just to name a couple. :D

When you say no dialer support for hidden menu, do you mean that none of the ##..code..# will work? Because ##yourMSL# is sometimes needed for programming if there is a problem OTA.

Yeah, but for what we plan on doing, it isn't necessary. We are talking about hidden menu, all this other stuff isn't relevant to our rom building process. Most of the stuff you are going into isn't anything that is necessary and is pretty superfluous to the average user. Yes we are saying you can't ##code#. The relative menus are linked in settings. Anything beyond that can be found with the utility that merc linked and it may or may not be included.

Yeah it (MSL) needs another thread (or already has one).

I think yeah we should start another thread once we have a beta or even. What do you think? Release it so people can kind of test as we build our just build until we have a releasable product that is a little more polished with more of our bells and whistles?

I think we should wait..I don't want to wear out the novelty of our builds before it's even done.

I like what Osiris is doing. Lets make it all public. We just need to clearly identify what works and what doesn't along with what features we have added. I think Merc was going to start on some init.s stuff. My opinion now's the time. People can observe and test from the base up. I would say stock, but there is nothing stock about this hybrid base
 
I think they should be purged from the base, if any mdpi icons are needed then I will modify my theme and make it mdpi compatible.
