All I did was update the ad-blocking and add the bootscreen. Once things are settled a bit more, I can work on throwing build.prop tweaks in and maybe some scripting while Diz does his work.

Well thats the idea... we want to preserve the baseband version but swap out all networks related apps and configurations and we're jusf a hair away...

Personally I can't stand the HTC keyboard. Used one for a while on my HTC (go figure). But that's just me.

Alright, got the day off, I'll continue theming this ROM, but I won't theme the Messaging app until its working. I'm gonna have to start from near scratch again though, some of the xmls I edited came out wrong, so I don't wanna add another problem aside from mms to this rom.

Is anyone else having trouble using Virtuous Ten Studio to compile ANYTHING? I did the same xml edits I did on every other theme exactly the same way I've been doing it for months and every time I try BOOM "Compiling resources failed!"

No, I have it set to 2.3.3 gingerbread, same settings I've used in all my other themes
EDIT: Just got framework-res to build, 3 xmls were edited, I didn't even switch out the pngs with the ones from my theme... theming this is gonna be a pain

Sometimes it chokes on obscure little syntax oddities when recompiling. What errors are you getting?

Something about Public symbols that are declared going undefined. I read through it and it was the same errors I had running on n00b when I tried theming it. I got out of it though, now I just have to modify and port over some images and framework-res will be finished.
EDIT: After replacing the images, it doesn't wanna compile anymore. You guys go on ahead with development, I'll keep working on this but its going to take me a few weeks, maybe even a month or two. I think I know how to fix it but it will take a very long time. I'll get this done one way or another.

I think I'll add in the battery mod then, most people seem to prefer it.
How did Mr. Bobo make his rom flashable from stock? I think it'd be a cool feature to have?

He found a way to officially sign it.

honestly its a cool feature but that feature should only be for recovery... this rom will be for both the public n860 and the boost warp and adding that signature means that public mobile users will have to flash the boost bootloader with custom recovery to install this rom because our devices have different signatures.... Yours is a N860 and mine is PMI_N860... now that doesnt really matter when its a boost rom because part of the unification portal is the boost b10 bootloader but in this rom it's not necessary...
