Root [Boost Mobile] LEVIATHAN Elegace & Elegance OC Roms Released

so I finally got to test my WIFI today and just noticed that when I turn on WIFI, the first time it will not connect. So I have to turn it off then back on and then it works. Once WIFI is connected I get no data connection i.e. i cant get text messages, phone calls etc....I get the grey bars with the small x on top (But WIFI is working fine). Now if i turn off WIFI at this point my 3g/ data does not turn back. at this point I have to reboot and 3g is back once it reboots.

was this reported by someone else already?

Edit: You can actually switch airplane mode on and off to get the 3g to come back on after switching off WIFI off, instead of rebooting.....a lot faster than rebooting obviously.

yes, i uploaded a new build.prop with instructions on how to install it, it fixes the wifi/3g issue

hhhmmm ill have to install the new build.prop again then. I had already done that, following the instructions on the OP. Ill try again when I get home and see what happens. Thank you.

I added the new build.prop again and it seems to work, but not all the time. At times it will work fine and both data and WiFi work fine. Then after a while 3g will stop working. For the most part after turning off WiFi data come back on fine, but i have a couple instances were it doesn't and i have to either switch to airplane mode and back or reboot.:confused:not sure why it works ok sometimes but not others.....(Still love the ROM);)

Yep same here on mine and again its just very sporadically. Like Konceptz, love the rom dude....:D

This is kind of out of my league at the moment, ive only got a couple months in kernel development

I have sucessfully Compiled Kernel 3.0.1 with arm eabi, packed with a ram disk.
okay, i can get into recovery with it, video and buttons work. the kernel just wont boot lol, the red LED stays on.

any input would be welcome

Recovery kernel and kernel used for the os are different. What did you do to config the boards in the 3.0 kernel? Did you copy over the boards form hroarks source? Did you set up the drivers correctly?

i used the newconfig from hroarks source. probably the drivers arent right, could you give me a little insight. or a resource to properly set it up? i had to do something odd because the zImage was 3.5mb

Zimage was way to small, I average around 4meg, I haven't been able to get a 3.0 source working yet, so I can't give much direction. Honestly you would need to start at the makefile and follow everything down the line and copy it over, there will be alot of kconfigs and makefiles

i read somewhere that ICS was "at the time of development" supposed to be compatable with 2.6.x Kernels.

But i honestly think the new warp sequent is probably our best bet, as the hardware is nearly identical. MSM8655 @1.4ghz, 768mb ram, 4gb nand.. its a warp with more memory

Oh no:(, the random reboots are back:(. I cant wait till swap support is available. Its been a while since I've had a random reboot ever since switching to swap supported ROMS. I hope it can be fixed....that was one of my biggest issues on the stock ROM.

Also back is the Random Music start ups.....While the phone was sitting on my desk at work today, my music randomly starting playing SMH:confused: again another issues i haven't experienced....everyone was like WTF lol....

Hopefully these issues could be resolved...

I'm pretty sure they just got their source working correctly. It was already set for 1.4ghz.

A 3.0 kernal on the warp would be ORGASMIC!

you probably wouldnt notice much difference.... but its the first step toward ics or jellybean, personally id like to just skip over ics all together and build jellybean for warp.
reasons being, in the android world, ics is like androids windows vista, as in its sluggish. Jellybean is like androids windows 7, similar core, snappy and refined

I've been playing with jb on my friends Google nexus s it's wa bit smoother but stock its a resources hog. I wish i could root her phone and clean it up. With factory data reset it runs 250~Mb ram  and has many apps most people won't use.

yeah, we dont want full stock roms lol

Any chance on seeing a drop down drawer on a future release? and btw if you need help testing w/e I'm down I've been rolling through the ROMS for a month now.

New Build.prop has Signal / 3G Tweaks. as much as the kernel will allow, i spent some hours testing, adding, changing, and removing tweaks for this one

I've been out for a while so I haven't had a chance to install the new build but will today. While I have been out I've been doing all sorts of stuff with this Warp and haven't been disappointed yet. This is the best ROM I have ever used on any phone. I have an EVO 3d and the roms they have are good but I wish they were like this one. Thanks a lot for all your work, laving lots of fun. If anyone has any complaints at this point its probably just your phone or you because this ROM is TOP SHELF!:D:D:D

Even though it may be faster, we still can't get above the rated 3G speed, which according to this is around 3.1MBps, which (with some quick math) should be about 350K per second.

I appreciate the intel. The radio stuff has always been a little confusing to me. For instance, I bought a Vergin Mobile phone which shares Sprint like Boost does but the reception is so bad in my area I couldn't even activate it but Boost has no problem. Strange shit if you ask me but like I said ,"radio has always been a little confusing to me."
