Sounds good and I might know why Bluetooth isn't working I'll put up a file to install to make it work

hi

Fixed permissions ...still no bluetooth
It did however break the wireless tether for root
Also i found out that using the build.prop thats floating around will slow the warp down immensely running your rupture and it will break the boot ani for some reason (runs twice now .. once very choppy then it loops and plays fine and starts the phone )

after build.prop phone is slow and has issues responding including screen turn and wakeup

did not find a fix for bluetooth either (will not connect to car or headset )
but i m sure apollo will find a fix

for whatever reason gps is extremely fast locking on to satellites

all in all a good looking rom (not a big fan of the boot animation sound though)

I found the fix for Bluetooth I'll be releasing an app to get it working besides that everything else will come with the future update
 
just a stupid little mistake i made when removing system apks no bluetooth share ill be dropping a new link for rapture as soon as i have it tested so be patient
 
well you went offline after i tried the apk so if you want pm me a link to your source and i be happy to look into it to fix your bluetooth issue and some other issues you still having
 
Got the bluetooth issue figured out

Will report back when i found a solution on how to fix his kernel

in the meantime for people having issues with bluetooth use Hroark's non oc kernel zip file
and flash it with CWM

This is a nice rom.. I like the theme. The android on the pull down status bar is really nice, and also the fact that you removed the "Boost Mobile" text from it too.
My only suggestion is the 3g and wifi bars, in my opinion they are oversized for the status bar.

A MAJOR con is that the signal drops drastically when I barely literally move the phone at least 5ft, then it has no service. It gets annoying toggling airplane mode on and off just to get signal back..

I know this is just beta, it's pretty good. I hope this gets fixed, then I will give it another go. ;)

I highly doubt that the signal drop has anything to do with the rom
I have been testing it since over a week now finding little annoyances which are to be expected but signal dropping is not one of them .

I suggest a complete wipe of the phone followed by a reinstall of the rom .
If the problem persists please try to flash Hroark' s non oc kernel and see how it goes .

If after all that the phone still drops your signal it is time to give ZTE's horrible support a call for a rma .
I'm on my 3rd phone now and hope that next time i get one with the new digitizer

Anyways try all that and if it don't work RMA the phone ..

Hey no prob zombu ive been busy with other things haha trying to get the money to get home :/ do as much as you can if you want and if you can add the crt effects intro the zip thanks Luke I said ive been awful busy help its appreciated
 
New Beta Rom finished

Rapture-Rom-1.0.1-Beta-2

Install:

Just like most roms , copy to sdcard and flash with CWM
After flash give the rom about 5-10 mins to boot
Bootloops should be a thing of the past now

Changes and fixes:

Kernel changed to non OC due to problems with kernel
The occasional Bootloop Fixed
Bluetooth fixed
Added DSP MManager
Added Normal Browser
Added Calender
Added Calculator
Correct Bluetooth apk installed
ICS Launcher now Default
Added Galery3D
Updated Musik.apk
Spare Parts Added
Changed Boot ani and silenced that loud lil gnome on startup

CRT animation is not possible until ROM is Deodexed or someone helps me out modifying the framework-res.apk so it works after recompile.


Let me Know if something is not working as it should

Credits still go to ApolloStar , I just fixed some things
 
It's funy that ESET Smart Security 5.0.95.0 reported Rapture-Rom-1.0.1-Beta-2.zip as malware and moved to Quarantine, I just restored from Q, file seems to be ok so I'll try it tomorrow.

wierd just ran it through a bunch of online checkers all ok

next update will have beats audio

That's was one of my old boot screens lol
Is the wallpaper in the screen shots in the rom or something someone added?

Gonna miss the OC. I never had any problems on my phone

The OC kernel caused a lot of problems , Lets hope Hroark fixes it quick and releases another one

Honestly i have no clue where that wallpaper is coming from

Dont worry when im home and update this to the next version ill add oc again when theres no issues with it
