Caution must be used when manipulating this file since it's a critical system file. You can find it in the /system folder. When I had to change the file I just made a copy and renamed it build.prop.original and then I pasted the new build.prop file into the /system folder then restarted. If I needed to, I could easily revert to the original file by following a similar procedure as outlined above. Again, this is a system file so care should be taken.

I remember seeing a lot of conversation about sticky toggles but I'm not sure exactly to what you are referring. Is it something you can easily explain to me again? Thanks.

For some reason i cant find the ringtone -_____- im using the app "ringdroid" but cant find it on my sd.

Might download another app to see if it works thanks.

In the build.prop theres ad ons at the bottom that are from apallo and its hard to miss. If your toggles stick like mine did you just delete the ad ons idk which specificaly im not dev so i was instructed to delete all and they all work fine now but like i said i have no actual idea if thats what interfeers with my mms

Okay the new music player has lyrics also but for those who want the connected music player i will give it to you
I don't care which player as long as it has the lyrics displayed like the one that's in the rom now. I really appreciate your willingness to try to give us what we want. It say's a lot about the kind of person you are. Thanks.

I understand about the changes apollo made. What I don't understand is what you mean by 'sticky toggles'. I'd like to see if I can reproduce your issue on my phone so I can try to help solve the problem. I know you've already addressed your sticky toggle issue in this thread but I couldn't get a clear picture of what the problem is. That's why I'm asking again. Thanks for helping me understand. :)

Its when you try to turn wifi 3g unknown sources and they don't stick you back out and it acts like you never pressed it the only way to get it to stick is by rebooting

My toggle issues were if i left one one for more than 10 min then all the toggles would lock up and id have to guess if they were gunna be on of not when i rebooted cuz the brightness would stay on thru reboot if the wifi was on and just more lirtle things like that but edditing the build.prop i had no issues

Soo I tried your rom today just to check it out cuz I'm a die hard shinjitsu user. But i must say I was impressed. I liked the apps and music related stuff already in it, I also liked the player. I had one issue I couldn't seem to solve. After about 5 reboots or about 2 hrs it would start rebooting by itself over and over like a boot loop. I did multiple data resets, I cleared both caches and fixed permissions. I even reflashed a couple times. Only thing I could think of is I was restoring apps that were backed up using shins rom. But like I said it was definitely a smooth, beautiful rom. I preferred holo launcher though. ;)

I've always had much better luck if I flash a stock rom before flashing a custom one. Thanks to apollo, I get the images from here: http://androidforums.com/warp-all-things-root/569179-stock-b08c-b08-flashable-roms.html
After clearing data and caches, I flash the stock rom, restart normally, restart immediately into cwm recovery and flash the rom of my choice after clearing data and caches again, including the Dalvik cache. The stockB08.zip is the one to use for Unitology. I always restore manually from my TB backups and avoid restoring any system apps.

I hope this helps. :)

Yeah thanks, that's the funny thing though is I did flash the stock b08. I forgot to mention that but yeah I did that. I've been doing this for awhile so I'm pretty good at at problem solving if I get any. But it's probably just like you said system apps. Or data from the other rom

My phone is crapping the bed :( my DL speeds at make are 20Kb/s its constantly switching between 3G and 1X and in a phone call it dropped 6 times in an hour this has never happened before with boost even through the years i have had them
